4.0 out of 5 stars Lego game

My grandson was unable to get into the game due to parenting controls. I ended having to get in touch with nintendo customer (who are brillant) support who in turn gave me a master key. Now my grandson can play the game. The console in question is a nintendo 3ds lite. I have never had this problem before. So be careful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyed!

Style Name: Luigi's Mansion 2Verified Purchase
The point of the game is for Luigi to solve the mystery of the suddenly aggressive ghosts all over the area. Along the way, you have tasks to complete often involving hoovering up ghosts to put into a container at the lab so when the mystery is solved, they can go back to being big floaty goofballs.

At first, I wasn't a fan as it seemed super easy and repetitive. Well it is but it became quite enjoyable and the storyline moves along and gets harder as you go. There were some super challenging points that made me think and did struggle on some levels. Perfect to 'waste time/have fun' (as an adult) or for younger children to have fun playing a friendly mystery game. The last levels were definitely a bit of a battle!

Health warning: the last levels can potentially lightly strain the hands... *ehem*..

4.0 out of 5 stars A really good, immersive game

On the evidence of this I prefer this type of game to platform or sports one.
it seems to be a game format that Nintendo do well and which plays well on my son's 2DS.
There's humour in the game and nice touches as you puzzle out the ways to get around the various rooms and mansions.
Battling the ghosts can be at times, exhilarating, stressful or a bit irritating (when struggling to defeat them).
It is really clever and the atmospheric music adds greatly to the game.
I am not too enamoured of the dialogue with the professor which drags and which we rush through or skip at times.
I have now played about 8 games on the 2DS and this far this is mine and my son's overall favourite.
It can be frustrating when you are stuck on a level and the ability to save at any stage would be better.
I also have to admit that at the start we had to look at an online cheat page to get going.
To excuse us somewhat though my son hadn't played video games much before and I hadn't for years so we needed a little hand up.
Overall, a really good, enjoyable game that should keep players amused and enthralled for along time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great throwback, a bit dated but high quality

This is a great arcade style shooter with controls that take some getting used to but feel good after that. There is a story mode that has sone replay value for 4-5 hours and there is a score mode which can easily take at least as much if not much longer depending if you go for the top medals. There is a simple multiplayer mode as well but I wouldn't put too much into that, looks a bit of an afterthought. Overall nice experience, sweet and short.

Purchased for Christmas for my 13 year old on his 2ds.
He opened it Christmas day and was glued to it for days after. He only put it down when he had finished it.
Definitely worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Handheld Mario Tennis... 1 cart allows 2 players to play... New Bargain price... Recommended!

Only played it for a few minutes (got it for less than 14quid on 'Select' range!) and have never played any other game in the series, but it seems like a good handheld game which I'm sure I'll get lots of joy from

Virtua Tennis 1/2 on Dreamcast probably still best game of this type for me, but this looks to also have a good range of mini-games, plus a fair few characters and stuff to do. Also has a good range of features too (Streetpass, online gaming, loads of characters etc)

Recommended!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, not great...

Decent 7/10 for a 3DS game, 5/10 for a mario game. Well worth a playthrough, even if just playing the pre-built levels. A good few hours of play. The selects version for 13.99 is a reasonable price but I wouldn't want to pay much more.

Simpler than other Zelda games on the DS but still had me addicted. The ability to insert into walls adds a refreshing dynamic to the gameplay. Overall, a worthwhile game that's easy but rewarding to play.
