So far, so good! Easy to apply and it's great it came with the application tool. It is pretty discreet (I have light-coloured wood floors) and I suppose its visibility is more obvious depending on how the light hits it. But overall, the strips are pretty discreet.
The only minor downside is that each strip is a bit short so your stairs will have parts uncovered. I suggest you use a measuring tape before purchasing if that's important to you.
