- There's a little more wobble than I'd like when typing. Fiddled with torque adjustments to no avail. Certainly liveable, especially for the price.
- Installation is a pain solo. Getting the arm attached to the desk is simple enough, but installing the monitor was very tricky as you need to hold the monitor in mid-air while screwing it in to the mounting plate. There may have been a better way to do it, but this was how the instructions recommended it. I managed it on my own but wouldn't attempt it again. Again, not at all out of the question given the price.
- Cable management clips are a pain to use. I've just loosely ziptied cords to the arm for now.
- Yellow stickers are really ugly. Easy enough to cover up, but blergh.
Otherwise it's great. As a bonus, the item arrived next day in the outer suburbs of Melbourne at the free shipping tier (the order said it would take 2 weeks)
My monitor is at around 80% of the maximum weight suitable for this mount, so it requires some adjusting to stop the screen from drooping down.
NOTE: There is also a second adjustment for the monitor's up/down tilt. It's hidden behind 2 plastic pieces that connect to the tilt hinge, and it wasn't mentioned in the instructions. My monitor was drooping down until I read someone else's review that mentioned the secret adjustment. I wasn't very happy until that was fixed.
Once adjusted it works great. Not sure about their claim that it's the sturdiest mount on the market - my monitor wobbles a lot if the desk is bumped. It's nothing too terrible, and since I don't smash into my desk often, it's not really an issue for me. But it is something to consider.
If I had to sum it up, I'd say it works well for the price. Keep in mind this is the cheapest desk mount you can find, so it wasn't ever going to be the sturdiest, but it definitely works. The main reason I purchased it was to free up real-estate underneath my monitor, and it definitely does that. Don't expect the world, and you'll be happy.
Free shipping with Prime was insanely quick. Ordered it on Friday, came on Monday.
For the price it's hard to fault. It cleans up the desk, doesn't move an inch, had it for about 2 months now and are looking to get the bigger version for my 32" monitor.
Also does a superb job at hiding the cables, allowing you to feed the cables down the arm. Mounts securely to the desk, very easy and I feel confident that it supports the 25" monitor. Is as expected.
Mounted to my BenQ GL2580HM FHD 25in Monitor. As long as you follow the guidelines that it will mount to a 75mm or up to a 100mm bracket you wont have any dramas.
Rarely do I find items I want at reasonable prices. So often sellers try to get the most they can from consumers, buying cheap and reselling for lots, sometimes for more than 100x the original price.
This monitor arm is not only fairly priced but seems sturdy enough for its stated use. So good that I bought two more - for the 2nd monitor and the central 32" TV (under 14.3lbs, mounting plate required).
De-clutters the desk space, makes cleaning much easier, and most importantly allows for easy placement to reduce neck and headache issues.
Very happy with this purchase.
The 100mmx100mm plate does seem slightly too big to slip the monitor in perfectly, but I'm not sure if it's an issue with my monitor or the arm.
However, the biggest thing to look out for is where you mount the monitor if you're using the C-Clamp. Make sure there is adequate distance on the back of your desk, and make sure that any cable organisers won't be too thick to block it. If you have a malm desk, then the C clamp will not fit properly.
Overall, a great mount for a very cheap price!

However... I implore you, would-be consumer, to be careful when opening this package and keep it away from your face when removing the velcro binding strap. This sucker is spring loaded and it punched me in the face like I owed it money. I managed to install the arm without further incident. My bruised cheek will heal, but my bruised ego may take longer.
Will be buying another 2x for my new colleague once he starts in January. Sharing the love. :)
- After modifications seem to hold my monitors properly with decent levels of adjustments
- Definitely saves space on your desk
- Nicely organizes cables
- The mount does not fit the Ikea desk (1-3/8" thick), and the bracket requires custom modification
- The monitor VESA mount may not fit certain monitors (such as mine ASUS PA246Q) and requires modification
- While the mount seems quite sturdy, the monitor shakes quite a bit with a slightest desk shake
First, I think for the price, it is a very decent mount that holds my two monitors (24" Asus and 27" BenQ) quite well. It saved me quite a bit of space on my desk too, which is great! Saying that, there are a couple of design flaws that prevented mounting my monitors properly right out of the box.
The first one is the design of the desk mounting bracket that prevents proper mounting on desks of certain thickness (in my case, Ikea Linnmon 1-3/8" thick desk). In the middle position of the bolts, the desk edge cannot fit inside the bracket (see picture). In the widest position, the screw length is not enough to grip to the desk. To make the bracket fit, I had to drill two additional holes that made it possible to fit the desk nicely (see pictures showing the bracket assembly before and after modification).
The second flaw is that the size of the VESA mount may be larger than the mounting cavity of your monitor. In my case, the cavity measured exactly 120mm x 120mm while the mount itself was a couple mm wider (see picture). As a result, I had to grind its edges of the mount with a rotary tool to make it fit. It wasn't a problem with the BenQ monitor which did not have a cavity at all. So your mileage may vary.
One other issue I found is that both monitors wobble quite a bit at a slightest shake of the desk. I haven't used aftermarket VESA mounts before so I can't compare to other brands.
Again, it's a nice mount if you are not afraid to do some extra work and prepared to lose your warranty. For everyone else - look elsewhere.
-- Fits my extra wide monitor (technically larger than spec) ok and supports the weight.
-- Easy to move screen up/down, forward/back, side to side, tilt.
-- Easy to position once set up.
-- Heavy duty.
-- Cable tidy is a bit of a faff, no easy (hidden) route through the base of the unit.
-- Base of mount needs lateral offset to centralise the monitor.
All in all, great value for money.
Very pleased with the design of the product, its strong and solid.
Well worth it.
Ref: 23" PB monitor
The only set back is that it doesn't come with a Philips screwdriver for the screws you attach the screen to the support (all the other screws can be dealt with the Allen key provided in the box. It comes with a manual for assembling, quite useful, even though some small steps of the process are missing.
The gas spring works perfectly and holds my 24 inch monitor wherever without any problem .
What's more it makes my desktop much more available and I 'm more flexible in my screen configuration
Overall ,I am pleasured with this purchase .
