My first few weighings were with coffee grounds and I dropped them gently onto the top and you can watch the half gram measurements change quite smoothly - this is a good sign the tech is high quality. With some other scales I’ve had the numbers would pulse or pause in between the changes - which usually means the scale has lower accuracy.
The buttons are very responsive, just don’t get them wet. I read a few reviews saying they didn’t like the touch buttons, but from experience with my coffee scale at work, when your click buttons break all you got is a broken scale, these touch buttons last way longer than the click buttons.
I’m also a month+ into using this scale everyday and I haven’t had any battery issues, and I also saw that Greater Goods will cover your battery cost if you do have any issues - and I’m also loving that I have a 2-year warranty and the charity connections with this scale. That’s all I can think of at this point. Oh, and I’ll update my review if anything comes up down the road! Hopefully this review is helpful for anyone comparing looking at scales like I did. 😊 Thanks for reading!
Cons: No notch on the back to allow you to hang this to save counterspace. The scale will sense if it's on an uneven surface, which means you might have trouble if, for some strange reason, you want to take it camping with you or something.
Neutral: The buttons are touch sensitive. Some people will like this (it's just like your ipad!), while others may not ("I want my button to MOVE so I know that I pressed it!"). Also, the "lb" subunit is not in decimals, but in "oz". Again, depending upon your preferences, this may be good or bad. Personally, I would rather write "1.5 lb" on my freezer bags instead of "1 lb 8 oz".
Other: The zero/tare button also doubles as a power button. Hold it down for a few seconds if you want to shut it off before it's auto-power off, and save some battery life.

I make sourdough bread in pretty big batches and this allows me to use my largest bowl.
The glass is not flimsy and the post isn’t loose, I don’t feel I have to be extremely gentle with it. The build is very solid, nothing rattles around inside. I kept the cardboard piece to keep the surface level when storing it but it wouldn’t be necessary (unless you’re me).
I have several products from Greater Goods, and I will continue to buy and recommend them to you all.
I did not get this free from Greater Goods, I just really love this scale! But if I got anything free from them I would not be upset.
