I tried numerous ways, to peel and dice garlic. Unfortunately. I am still looking for the best way.
Rolling the garlic in the tube sometimes works, to remove the skins, I found it works better, rinsing the skins under cold water before putting them in the tube.
Ultimately, I think the best method is still crushing it with a knife and hit it with your fist, or I collected a heavy fist sized Quarz pebble and hit the bulb and cloves, to smash them gently. Then remove the skins, a bit of bruising does not matter a lot, if you use the garlic fairly soon, rather helps in cutting it finely.
Guess a rock is cheaper than this gadget, and you can use a decorative and polished one, for presentation, if you prefer.....Good try, but still not perfect, in my opinion.
