Ok so these bully sticks last a LONG time. I have a 130lb mastiff that can rip the top off a milk jug in 1.5 seconds and this lasted him close to an hour. HOWEVER...the word “stink” does not do these gag-a-maggot sticks justice. P-U!!! And someone wrote that they were easy to break or cut into smaller pieces....not sure what kind of electric saw they used but I cut my finger horrendously (seriously-it spurted blood! 😉) and would not reccomend cutting them. One of my dogs had a tummy ache after, but I bet that can happen from almost any type bully stick. Bottom line is I wouldn’t buy again due to “Eewwwee that smell!”
I have ordered this brand in the past and have always been happy with the quality. This time, the bully sticks were good quality in all ways but the smell. It was so bad I had to store them outdoors even in the bag. Then, my nose could only take my dogs eating them for so long at a time.
Our dog loves these. We cut them in half because they were to long. They stink though. Bad! Gets worse once he starts chewing on them. Once I pull one out of the bag it starts stinking, and continues to stink up to a day or two after its gone.
I have been ordering these for about a year and the last order I got I noticed that the bully sticks were much thinner than before. Also there was more smell to them than the previous ones. I have liked these in the past (or rather my dog has!) but I think I'll try another brand this time. I may be back, we'll see.
My dog Star loves bully sticks. I've ordered these brand previously but the most recent batch I received was very thin. It took her less than 20 minutes to get through the stick versus a longer time with thicker sticks.
