A shop favorite updated to work on all chains including single-speed and all multi-speed, 5 to 12-speed derailleur chains. Because of the tremendous force needed to remove chain pins, our Chain Tool is made from investment cast steel.
NOTES: The CT-3.2 will not peen Campagnolo 11-speed chain rivets (see CT-4.3 or CT-6.3). The shelf fastener sizing is preset to allow easy adjustment from one width chain to another—any attempt to lock the shelf in place will result in damage to the tool.

Before you start shortening your bike chain.
Practice a little on a spare one first, just so you can workout how many rotations you need to get the rivet out, but not completely out.
This is my second parktool I've purchased and there will be more especially with the workman ship that goes into them😀
Unfortunately my expectations were not met. The pin that pushes the rivets out bent on first use on a brand new bicycle chain!
It now sits in my tool cabinet and I’m faced with sourcing a new pin before I can use it again :(
Frankly, given my experience I really can’t recommend it.
Just purchased a pair of replacement pins from Amazon, £4.99. An additional fiver to use the chain tool a second time. Sorry, but minus 1 star.
Have bought budget items before with mixed results. Since using Park Tools, I’ve never had an issue with them. Although can be more expensive, they are worth the price and reliable. I had the chain off and derailleur replaced with no hassle.
