I will update after more time as I have just received these straps today. I have them on and they feel pretty good.
I have had 5 knee surgeries in the past, including an ACL repair and Micro-fracture. Over the past 5 years I've had very few issues, just the occasional ache and a little locking when sitting for long periods of time. Recently however, I think I have been overdoing it, not realising and knowing when to take it easy. I've been painting and decorating the house and then I went dancing! Since then - pain!!
I have the old knee supports - those that give full support from the thigh down to below the knee, but these get hot and sweaty and can also become uncomfortable after a few hours. Also they cannot be worn under tight jeans. So I saw these and decided (based on the good reviews) to try them out. As soon as they were posted I put them on.
These feel pretty robust and of good workmanship. It has definitely given me some much needed relief and support - and offers me a sense of security when going about my daily chores.
