This leash is NOT red, it's a bright pink. My nails are red so I've included a picture of my nails with this leash. I will need to replace this leash now as my male dog with a red and black harness does not need a pink leash! Don't get me wrong, pink is my favourite colour! But I did not order a pink leash, I ordered a red leash. Disappointing. The leash itself looks and feels like any other dog leash. I cannot speak to quality of use because I haven't used it.
