I raised a support ticket with PetNet via the app 6 days ago however they have not responded.
My support ticket requests the product be replaced with a working one as simply stopping working in such a short time is completely unacceptable!

The PetNet feeder has stopped working.
It has been working fine, but just recently it has not been dispensing food. At feed time it makes the same noise that it does when it was working, but the food does not come out. When I checked the app, the feed message is “ It looks like your food hopper does not have enough food to dispense this portion. Please check and fill your hopper.” But the hopper was not empty, it was half full. The App message is wrong.
I turned it off and took the hopper off, and was able to test the device with it off, it makes the same sound and turns.
Then I emptied the hopper and put the hopper back on top, and pressed the button, and I can clearly see the mechanical arm turning many rotations like it should making the usual whirring sound. The feeder reports no food is delivered via the App which is correct.
I then added a half cup of food, then when I test it, the same mechanical sound happens while the arm is turning, and it pushes food into the hole and it comes into the tray, and as there is very little food it says my feeder is low on food.
Adding another couple of cups of food and then testing it, the food dispenser makes the same mechanical whir sound, but the food does not come out. It appears on inspection that the arm is unable to rotate when a few cups of food are in there, which to me suggests the motor could be too weak to perform its task. It reports the feed as complete and I also get a message saying the feeder is empty.
Up until recently, food was delivered when the hopper was full, we have not changed the type of food since day 1, hence I conclude through normal use this device has just stopped working.
I have searched for solutions to this problem in your FAQ and re read the pdf instructions for the device, and looking all over your website for what to do, but it seems there is nothing I can do.
Can you please replace this faulty Petnet feeder under warranty as it is broken?
I’ve found measurements that the machine dispenses to be erratic and given measurements aren’t in metric (grams) it can be hard to know exactly how much is dispensing.
The machine also didn’t stop an eager cat from succeeding when attempting to get a biscuit or two each time they put their paw into the dispensing hole. Which was solved by building a housing around the machine unit.
Seeking support from the machine provider is non-existant also. After nearly 3 weeks of trying to contact Petnet Support there’s not once been a reply from them after multiple efforts.
At this rate the machine is not really usuable due to the inconsistent feeding amounts and is staring down the barrel of heading to the scrap heap.
