It's much smaller than I expected, but my 12lb adult cat has no issues playing with it. He adores this thing!
It's high quality, and the balls return to him much more reliably than on similar single-tiered track ball toys. I have seen cheaper versions of this 3-tiered toy, but I'm honestly glad that I chose this one instead as the quality is worth it. I just wish it was bigger, so that it would be easier for people or other cats to join in on the play.
My kitty likes it. She is not as excited as other people wrote here about their cats, and she seems to get bored of it very quickly. But she returns after a while and plays again. So i think it worth it. For the quality - I believe this opening on top would be better off entirely closed.. There is no use in it, and this beam in the middle has sharp edges. I will look for the way to cover it completely because my kitty sees the balls shadows through the tower plastic (yes it is that transparent!) and sometimes tried to catch them from inside, putting her both front legs inside. I'm worried about it so I'll have to address it somehow. Also, the balls have very pale colors, not like in the picture at all, and if I don't make them rolling first, she doesn't seem to notice them. But after I show them to her, she plays very actively, for a while.
My cat has something similar to this, but with only one ring and one ball. She loves that toy. I see this toy everywhere online and cats seem to love it. Since my cat loves the simpler version of this, I figured I give this a try. Well after about 15 minutes of being scared to death of this contraption she finally figured it out and enjoys playing with it. She plays with it for 5-10 minute increments and then gets bored. But she plays with it multiple times during the day.
Since receiving the tower of tracks cat toy our 3 cats have not left it alone. They line up and take turns playing with it at all hours of day and night. Our only complaint is the small size. It sure could be a little larger/taller. The cats usually lie on their side to be able to see the balls and play, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. no doubt the manufacturer could sell many more of these if they made it taller.
Cat loves this toy. Plays for hours without me having to be around. Price was great versus getting some expensive motor toy. The one major downside I have with this is it's very lightweight and does not have any way to secure it's position. So it glides across my hardwood floors when the cat plays with it, smacking into walls and making a huge ruckus!!! I'm not sure how to weigh it down either since the inside is hollow and cheap plastic. Also this means the cat will often tip it over by accident. Worth the little troubles though.
I've had this for a couple of days and my cats love it... it does look kind of flimsy so I'm not confident it will last long. OK, it's been in regular use and the cats love it still. as long as I don't step on it the cats won't break it and the balls stay in the tracks and don't pop out easily. I upgraded my rating from 3 to 4.
If you have kittens this will definitely keep them busy, adult cats you might not be as lucky as only one of my 3 adult cats play with it. Still glad when we had kittens I had this though, they were very happy I had this too.
Tardó mucho tiempo en llegar como lo indicaron en un inicio, llegó bien y está lindo pero no pesa nada así que al jugar se puede voltear fácilmente, sin embargo por el precio es un excelente regalo para gatitos.
