Good but not 60 pieces

My kids love these magnetic tiles. They build and play multiple times a day and it’s the most used toy in our house. We have ordered these twice as well as the cars. That being said, with both of these boxes, neither of them had 60 pieces. At first I thought it was an odd box and didn’t think anything of it. We added another box to the collection because of how much they are being used and the same amount came in our next box- purchased months later. They’re great quality but we are definitely short some.

I bought these magnatiles for my 4 year old. He’s not at the ‘mouthing’ age. In normal wear and tear they are breaking. In one the magnet is exposed. We have a different brand that is holding up much better. Don’t buy this brand. It’s dangerous.

At first, I thought this set of Picasso Tiles was a great gift for my son. However, after playing with them only a few times, the magnets started to fall out of place around the edge of the tiles. And, for at least one tile, the little magnets fell completely out after the seam came open holding the two sides of the plastic tile together. Because of this, I cannot recommend these, and had to return this set. My son has a much smaller set of Magnatiles that he's had for an entire year, and none of them have had this issue, despite lots of play time with them. I think I'll just pay the greater price to get more of those, since they are obviously more durable and sturdy. In this case, the cheaper price of these isn't a bargain.

At first we LOVED these Magnets. My 4 year old received it for their birthday and played with it non stop everyday. They were fun, educational and kept my child busy. One day, he threw one and it caused it to pop open and the Magnets came out of it. Magnets are extremely dangerous if swallowed!! Obviously these aren't suppose to be thrown but these are kids we are talking about. It happens. The box says ages 3 and up. I suggest if you have young kids be careful with these.

I have ordered these before and had no issue--certainly worth the money and quality is just as good as the more expensive Magnatile brand. My issue is that they came in a nice box--but damaged box as well as inside the box the plastic covering was open and all scratched up as well as shipping labels plastered all over the Picasso tile box. I am sure the magnets would have worked just fine but I could not give them as a gift with the box looking like it did and that was my intention.

These are absolutely FRUSTRATING. I bought for my son who is 31/2 and only says a few words, he loves focusing and building but these stinkin things drive me crazy just as much! The magnets hardly stick together, my son ends up screaming and getting so upset I feel terrible and I know EXACTLY how he feels. I’ll be returning these. I’m surprised by all the really good positive reviews.

The item itself is a good idea and my kids love them, however, they are not very durable. The pieces keep opening and the magnets keep falling out which is exceptionally dangerous for my toddler. I’ve had to superglue multiple pieces in the hopes they will stay together.
