The Pilot comes recommended from almost every site visited. But, I found it to be somewhat cheap looking. Writing wise, tons of feedback, light ink flow with most inks, gets very scratchy and annoying.

I do not enjoy writing with this pen at all. But would use it if I had to..

I just dont understand the hype surrounding this pen 3 out of 10

I'll still keep it in my collection, but no more than 1 sorry. At the price here in Australia LAMY, Faber Castell - Loom, Muji, Twsbi Eco, Noodlers Ahab, Parker IM, run rings around the Pilot Metropolitan.. Sorry

I bought this for a gift to my wife and she absolutely loves it. Having used it a few times I now have one on my list too. It's easy to fill up (just squeeze the inside part, dip the tip into the ink and allow it to suck up some ink) and writes super smooth. Only issue we have had is that you need to re-fill it after not using for a period of time (say a day or so) even if you left it full. I think this is just a fountain pen thing (we're new to them).

Empiezo esta reseña diciendo lo que no es esta pluma... No es super elegante, no es la mejor, no tiene grandes cualidades. Sin embargo, esta pluma, por el precio es perfecta. Escribe bien, muy fluido, es sencillo de insertar cada repuesto, se sostiene de buena manera, la presentación de Pilot es excelente. Me dejó muy contento porque he tenido plumas más caras y sin embargo, a pesar de que la textura y la presencia son absolutamente mejores, en cuestión de escritura esta pluma es genial. La recomiendo sin duda para traerla por todos lados, usarla constantemente, sin preocupación de que se pierda o le pase algo. Es una pluma que si se me pierde, no dudaría en volverla a comprar

For the price I think this is a very good pen. Pleased it came with converter and ink cartridge which many expensive brands seem to do away with now.

I use it as my everyday writer and it does the job. If I want to make a quick note or workings I grab this first and leave my two expensive pens in the draw which is what I was hoping for. I was sceptical if this would be any good or stand the test of time but it seems to be ok so far!

An incredible pen for the money. It is my everyday carry pen and a delight to use at work. The black finish makes it look stylish at meetings and the fine nib makes taking notes a snap.

I don't post the lid of my pens, so I keep the smart case with me to pop the lid in. The ritual of taking the lid off and on feels lovely. The convert takes a decent load of ink too.

Excellent pen, feels great in the hand and writes a fine line.

The converter that comes with the pen is a bag design so you squish it in and out to suck up the ink, the only thing is it's very small so expect to keep filling it up, I can write a small pages worth of writing before I need to top up, compared to my Lamy Safari, the converter with that pen I could write a whole book without needing to refill.

I do like the design and weight but I will be looking to replace the converter.
