In other words - they're built for longevity and are extremely high quality. They redesign something which doesn't break in TWO YEARS (I would really rather have italicised, but there you go) of enthusiastic daily use. Like, 4 times a day, too. We're talking teenage boy levels of grind (obviously of a different, far more sanitary and a great deal more energising kind).
Buy one. Yes it's expensive, but it's totally worth it. I've tried other, cheaper alternatives. I've also tried equally priced alternatives. I have a collection of antique grinders that I picked up in flea markets (I like coffee) including a Spong no. 0 (if you don't know what that is, look it up, learn some and you can henceforth drop one of the most ludicrous brand names seriously).
Of all of these, I always go back to the mini.
This seller got the grinder to me ten days after I placed the order and I didn't get hit with any import/excise duty and they appear to be cheaper than other vendors. Buy one: you won't regret it.
One full cup of beans is pretty much equal to one delicious cup of coffee.
Changing the grind is easy; just need to rotate the cog at the bottom a few clicks.
Doesn't need much maintenance too. Just a clean every now and then.
Excellent value if you want a hand grinder.
the coffee is delicious, no static as the body is steel and and I've found a lovely origami as gift in the package.
