Additional Features & Benefits
1. The details are incredibly realistic and the best thing is that tattoos look like real. You can paint, decorate or tattoo them whatever you want. A great way to attract attention to your art!
2. Can be used by anyone from a novice to an expert tattoo artist to practice or fine-tune their tattooing skills, and demonstrate that you need a lot of practice--and preferably an apprenticeship as well--before you can tattoo well.
3. Don't worry about wiping away lubricants and residual creams when you're done tattooing practice skin; your design will be permanent at that point and won't wipe away or be smudges during clean-up.

These skins are awesome! Almost the size of a sheet of paper. Which is much bigger then some of the other skins you’ll find in here. They are also super thick as well. I purchased other skins on amazon that were incredibly thing and I had to double, wasting half the skins. Also one of the biggest problems I had with other skins is staining and smudging, which they do not. Easily cleaned with green soap. No dragging or skipping or needles on this skin as well. Highly recommend!
I bought these because so many are tissue paper thin and are crap, but these are actually great to use, nice and thick too. I read reviews where a lot of people had a hard time using them, but I think that's because they haven't tried other ways to prep them first or didn't prep them at all. I actually did like you're suppose to on most fake skins: scrub with a dry paper towel to work the "greasy stuff" off the surface - this takes real elbow grease, and that worked fairly well enough. Then I tried a strange but super easy and very effective way...I got some 500 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Put a tiny drop of dish soap in a dish & mixed it a little. Cut the paper to 4 squares, folded it and soaked it in the solution over night. Next day I just sanded both sides of the skins with the paper for a few minutes. WORKED PERFECTLY! They held ink perfectly! The only downside is that they're not very opaque, you can see through them easily enough if you're putting ink in at the depth you're suppose to. Personally this sin't a big deal to me, they're cheap enough that you can use only one side if you like. If you're using them purely for practice purposes they're awesome and cheap, you can afford to buy a bunch of them. I definitely plan to buy many more of these. They're awesome!
You have to go so deep with the needle to get your lines to stay in this silicone. If you went this deep with a needle in human skin you'd cause damage, scarring, blowouts and bluing, and your tattoo will look horrendous. This is scratcher stuff. You're better off with an orange. I wouldn't give this to an apprentice and I sure wouldn't get a tattoo from someone who thinks this will teach you anything.
This is great for practicing small to medium tattoos I'm quite new to tattooing so I need a lot of these! Ink comes off very easy when wiping and it does replicate real skin quite well on the resistance. I'm not sure if its these pads or if I'm pressing to much needle into it but it does stick sometimes in the pad requiring me to stop and adjust my position.
I bought this for my husband so he could get some practice working with tattoo guns. Let me start off with the fact that it isn't all that thick. The main issue with this product is that ink does not stick and you have to go over it multiple times just to make it visible. It made my husband's art work look very sloppy.
