Good apple slicer I like that it's 16 pieces they're smaller and better to eat that way used it every single day for a year and a half straight on three to four apples and it finally broke ordered another because of the quality Inn the abuse I put it through lasted quite a while and it's hard to find one that does thin 16 slice
Super Zerteiler !
I really like this apple corer and slicer. However, I have difficulty using it because it takes arm strength to get the apple all the way through. When I succeed in doing it, I feel like a weightlifter who has just lifted a much heavier weight than usual. When I cannot push the apple through, I call on someone who can use brute force to do it. The slicer corer does a good job. Guess I need to start weight lifting. I would nevertheless buy it again.
So far it does a great job, it cuts thin apple slices. I love apples but have not been able to eat them since I knocked my front teeth out but now I can eat apples again without worrying that i pull my teeth out of my mouth. I know I could cut them myself but i'm a lazy guy and this does that job in literally 1 second flat so why not right?
Great slicer. Keep in mind it has lots of slicing blades, which makes it harder to use than those with less blades. So it might not be a great choice if you’re not very strong. But with some force behind it (and you don’t have the be a weight lifter or anything) it sliced and cores apples and pears with ease.
My favourite apple slicer! Accommodates giant apples, and last a long time. This is my second one. The first one lasted about six months with multiple uses each day before the handle broke. Well worth it!
I have to push pretty hard for this to cut through apples, whereas I don't have that problem with my other apple slicer; maybe the blades just aren't very sharp? They also don't cut all the way through, so I end up having to pry the apple slices out. Still works better than cutting apples up with a knife for my toddler, but improvements could be made.
The logic of it is nice, but when you try to use it, it works out that you're worried about how this will turn out.
The base is connected as a hinge mechanism and then you have to fit in an apple. The device always cuts one side of the apple wedges against the hinge. Imagine building a door and then use it to crush your apple into mush.
I'd prefer that because I'd have built a door instead of buying this piece of garbagio.
Love this product as it cuts the apples small enough for my kids to eat quickly. Depending on the "roundness" of the apple, sometimes it cuts a bit lopsided. But I guess that's the defect of the apple, not the product. Highly recommend.
