One of the best things I found out is that these can be cleaned and re-used!!! I have a big soup pot designated just to cleaning the pellets. I boil them once a month with a little bleach for about 30 minutes, drain and put them in a large bin to dry out. They stay 100% intact and I have reused the same pellets for 3 months. I just keep a backup set of pellets to put in the litter box while the others are being cleaned / dried out and rotate the sets.
He was sick the next day. That's a danger for any of you looking to use this letter.
He also thought the pellets were fun to play with.
A quick google search for "cat eating cat litter breeze system" you can quickly find out this product has serious health concerns. Unfortunately, I didn't do my due diligence properly researching the health aspects and wasted $50, that went down the drain.
The pellets were not tested and immediately thrown out so I can't attest to the product quality outside of my experience.
Be careful using the product.
Even Purina stated this product is non-toxic but if your cat eat this product it will cause some digestible issue or make your cat sick.
I tried to return this product as my cat was eating it from the sample pellets but neither Amazon or Purina will honor to refund this product even the product is brand new in box.
Amazon stated this product as "Hazardous Materials" and is not eligible for return which didn't state anywhere on product purchase page or on return policy page.
Purina stated that as long as they sold the product to Amazon then they do not have the responsibility to provide the return.
Beware if this is your first time purchase
I would recommend buying a litter locker, as it will drastically reduce the smell and the number of times you have to visit your outside garbage.
I scoop once a day (one cat). I don't use the Breeze pads (too expensive, and not as good as another brand), but with the other brand of pad I'm changing it every 3 days (one cat with a large bladder). Way easier than scooping twice a day, spreading dust everywhere, and the only time you smell urine is when you change the pad.
They're rock-hard, so if you step on them with bare feet, it hurts, so be careful about that. But they dry out the pee very well. My cat will get them caught between her toes and I'll find them scattered around the apartment, but it's still better than having litter tracked everywhere. They're very easy to pick up and just put back in the litterbox when you find them. It takes a LONG time before I start to smell them, as long as I change the pee pads (but that's a separate product with separate challenges). We have two tidy cat boxes so the 6-pack option is great value. Would recommend!
We have two cats so we have to scoop the feces every other day and even that is easier with the pellets. The pee pads are really simple to swap out also.
We are never going back to regular litter.
