Ordered an avocado soft toy but received a small cafetière instead. Eh?
I’m giving it one star for softness as zero stars in not an option but upon cuddling, I can confirm the cafetière is super hard and unyielding. Also has glass parts so I think it’s unsuitable as a cuddly soft toy, and unsafe for small children.
In terms of value for money, I’ve again given it one star as zero stars in not a option. I think as a cafetière, probably on the pricey side as it’s pretty small and not a recognised brand. As a soft toy shaped as an avocado, it’s a cafetière. Conundrum.
It’s really cute and soft but sadly came with a hole in the back of it. I was going to send it back but my daughter loves it since it is very cute and cuddly. As I can sew I’ll fix it but rather disappointed that it came with such poor stitching in the first place. If you get one I’d check carefully at the back as the thick fur hid the hole when I first checked it and it was only when she hugged it after being given it that it could be seen.
Title says it all. It is soft and cute and squishy and huggable but mine came in deformed as the filling seems to be pushed together and no matter what I do it seems like it will stay like that. It is just pile of the filling inside so the edges of the avocado where it is sewn together are just the "skin" ad there is nothing between your fingers but the "skin" as all the filling is rolled into the middle more or less.
I loved it, but the quality of the Avacado fur (something I never thought I'd say), was a bit questionable. Not bad, just questionable. I bought it for a Christmas present and its February the third, still haven't given it to the person. Sorry if you are reading this. I'll give it to you tomorrow.
