6400dpi 4G Optical Sensor The all-new Razer DeathAdder has been upgraded with the world's first 6400dpi Optical Sensor. Achieve high levels of performance while retaining the feel of the optical sensor most DeathAdder users have come to love. This mouse's 4G sensor has also been optimized to work perfectly with all Razer mouse mats. Just choose from one of the preset Razer mouse mats in Synapse 2.0 to calibrate the sensor, or use the manual calibration mode if you're using a custom surface. Get 200ips and 50G acceleration even at the lowest dpi settings. So even though your mouse sensitivity is scaled down, it catches up to the physical movement of your hand across the surface for an almost 1-to-1 response between mouse and game. The all-new Razer DeathAdder's mouse sensor has no drift control, ensuring that you'll be able to make minor movements in game, especially vital for FPS gamers pulling off that perfect headshot. This is the pinnacle of gaming accuracy with an optical mouse sensor.

Good mouse pretty simplistic, only downside is it's too slippery/smooth. Fits my hand pretty well though. The mouse buttons seem very sensitive too compared to others. I seem to right click by accident quite a bit.
This is a great all around gaming mouse. It has a 6400 DPI sensor which is plenty for me. My DeathAdder Chroma went up to 10,000 DPI but I rarely go over 6400 anyways. For more advanced users, one might prefer a mouse with more features/buttons or a lighter mouse for FPS players but it's a great place to start. It's size and shape is identical to the DA Chroma. It does not have Chroma RGB support, the white edition only has a white light. You can control the brightness and two modes, static or breathing.
I decided to buy this mouse because my DA Chroma was having middle button click issues so I had to send it in for a warranty replacement. I bought this DeathAdder Essential as a backup and I've always wanted to try a white mouse in my setup. With the new Razer Mercury line, I can definitely imagine having an all white theme instead of the black I have now.
My only issue with the mouse so far is the side grips. On most other Razer mice these grips are rubber but on this mouse they are just plastic. Therefore they feel more slippery and aren't as comfortable to grasp. Also the grip on the right side of the mouse is already showing signs of dirtiness. I rarely eat and use my mouse, I read that white mice can get dirty easily so I guess they were right.
But lately I've been hitting the gym pretty hard and honestly gaining strength to the point where a light small mouse felt uncontrollable. My aim would be too shaky and I felt like I needed something bigger and slightly heavier and I wanted it to look nice. I looked into the EC2-B and even got one but it simply looked bad and the scroll wheel made it impossible to easily b-hop in cs go. I could do it but it wasn't comfortable.
So then I got this beauty and along with the AMP500 mouse pad it felt insane. It glides amazingly well, the shape is god tier and the sensor, although not the 3389 found in the chroma edition, is simply good enough and I can't make it spin out or anything. I went with this cheaper deathadder because of the color and I don't regret not getting the Chroma or Elite version.
