I lack afro hair but what I lack I make up for with a long flowing mane of insta-puff on a warm humid day, so the reviews here gave me some cause for concern. I'm glad to say however that the negative ones are full of hot air.
Compared to a regular hair dryer this is not as hot, but that's not a bad thing. It doesn't leave my hair feeling like the Sahara, or my scalp feeling like molten lava. It does however dry my hair and brush it at the same time, leaving me more time to spend writing inane reviews here! Lucky you.
I found the best routine was to towel dry my hair a little and then brush out the billion knots that Satan likes to bestow upon my head. After this it was able to dry my hair and brush it straight in about 15 minutes.
My hair is long, so fifteen minutes is not too shabby. When I say long I mean long, not your namby pamby shoulder length long, my hair is so long I can whip my husbands butt into buying me more hair gadgets whilst he does the dishes. Ha! Take that masculinity!
This brush dryer gadget 2000 is quite heavy, compared to a regular hair dryer, and it is very noisy, but I can live with those issues.
In all, I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy, because why would I want them wearing fabulous hair!?
