I got this while still pregnant & found it too restrictive for my belly. I was carrying twins though & all of my weight was at my belly. I didn't wear it while pregnant. I tried it post partum to help hold my saggy belly in but it didn't offer enough back support or feel snug enough. After the babies were out I could've probably gone a size smaller than I had. Doesn't help that a few days after delivery I lost 34 lbs in water weight! I ended up getting a belly band/back support/ waist trainer that I have been using instead. Little disappointed this product couldn't be used for me.
I bought two different kinds this one an another. This one hands down is way better. It has the support so it NEVER rolls or moves down. I WEAR it all day both problems. I'm 5'9 215. Size 3 I got. Fits great. It is long enough and not too tight but tight enough to get the job done.
I would order a size up from what is suggested. I normally wear a size 6-8 and bought a size 2 when only 4 months pregnant. I felt like I was being suffocated and couldn’t imagine wearing it when I was more pregnant. Got a size bigger and it is much more comfortable. It is nice to wear to extend your pants when you can’t find maternity wear! Also, it helps with support!
I put it on upside down the first time and you can definitely tell the difference. I like this band, it’s not complicated and it’s comfortable. I feel more at ease when I wear it. I was having a lot of soreness from just being up and about throughout the day and wearing this really makes a difference. Plus, I don’t have to worry about showing belly if my clothes come up or whatever hahah.
First of all, I didn't realize I would only get 1 band for the price - I thought it was a 3 pack, my mistake. The band is really a basic piece of fabric, and was smaller than I expected it would be. I would DIY sew a band and not buy this again. Honestly I don't know if I will use this, as it is tight on my only 14 week belly.
This is a decent belly band but I feel like it could fit better. My pants slide way more with this belly band than the one I had for my last pregnancy. It does help with round ligament pain though and I don't just wear these with jeans but also over my leggings to give more support.
Right now it’s a tad big but that’s fine will definitely be useful the further along I get. The extenders are hard to get on with larger buttons but not impossible! This exactly what I needed to prevent from having to buy maternity pants, at least for now
