Too big for hand luggage, poorly designed. Doesn’t stand on its own, falls over. Also doesn’t have rubber to protect the fabric from dragging when wheeling. We had a hole in ours within a week of using it :(
The first one I bought was excellent, and lasted a good long time, 2+ years. I was so impressed, I bought a 2nd, and it was a lemon. The rear wheel broke after 2 uses. I kept using it, as I didn't want to just throw away a new duffel bag, but after about 2 months of use, I got tired of carrying it, and bought an Olympia. For a little more money, I got a lot more quality.
This bag worked okay on a week long trip. I used it as a carry on and it fit all of my items for the entire week, very spacious. However on the trip back home the handle to pull the bag broke in the airport as well as one f the feet to hold it steady when sitting down. . I was very disappointed because I thought I had found the perfect carry on. Oh well.
I’m sitting in the airport thinking about how much I hate this luggage. The only good thing is that it has wheels. It may be okay for a checked bag but not a carry on. It doesn’t sit up on the end because it only has one set of wheels, so it falls over. It’s ugly and frumpy and hard to get into if you zip and clip and Velcro everything. Just not good for me.
I already own the hard side luggage with the owl print and the swivel wheels. Since I liked those pieces so much, I thought this would be a nice addition. I was wrong. With 2 wheels that did not swivel, it was awkward to push or pull. No matter how I leaned it when I was sitting or standing it fell. On the plane it had to go in the overhead, I was hoping it would go under the seat. It is a roomy piece and on the way home from my trip I checked it and it came through just fine.
The bag is large- a nice carry on size. BUT- Do not plan to pack this as an overnight bag. We used it on half of a trip and the wheel busted left and had to figure out how to make it slug along on ONE wheel for the rest of the way. Like a traditional carry on bag- there is no support system between the two wheels and the plastic holding the wheels can easily come off the fabric. Honestly, for the amount that it should hold given its size, it should have a better wheel system or be smaller so that it will not break under as little as 15 pounds. Hope it makes it for awhile, but does not look promising.
I purchased this bag for carryon and it worked fine. However, when I went to pull out the handle to pull it behind, it was a piece of garbage!. It would wobble, fall over and just not sturdy to be pulling.
