Russell Watson Return of the Voice Live is a fantastic showpiece of Russell Watson's talent.
My absolute favourite pieces are; Il Gladiatore, Love theme from the Godfather, The Impossible Dream, Bring him Home,
O Holy Night, Someone to remember me - and with the orchestra alone 20th century film suite who play the themes of Star Wars,
Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones and Schindler's List.

I play the DVD regularly for relaxation and inspiration. I have given this DVD as a present on several occasions and they have been
much appreciated. It is a recent but timeless classic!

This is Russell Watson at his best; he commands the stage and the audience, and the DVD was thoroughly enjoyable. A great performance! Anyone who wants an enjoyable evening's entertainment for just £13.48 for the whole family then purchase this DVD. Suggest start with 'Behind the scenes' as the introduction then watch the 2 hour concert of superb singing. This has to be the epitome of Russell's career (but hopefully not) and if it transpires to be then what a wonderful evening and equally great DVD and it is rewatchable! Russell certainly justifies the title of The Voice!

I am not a fan of Russell Watson, so this was an impulsive "buy". I do however admire him for coming through his ill health with such dignity. I thought he was nervous for the first 10 minutes of this concert, and then he began to relax. By the end of the concert I was definitely a fan. It was a wonderful concert and he was incredibly generous towards his audience, Ten stars!

Very good recordings of Russel at the Albert Hall ...one of the family's favourite singers
and good to hear him back in good form after his illness. Only one thing could have been improved and that was to have started his programme with a mix of Italian and British music, the large number of Italian numbers initially turned off the junior listeners for a while....nevertheless a good buy! ...Mike B
