I have only worn each pair once and washed once, and I have had the same result. They seem to catch on every little thing, snagging easily and causing the stitching the rip out (see photos). In addition to the stretched out stitching from snags, there appears to already be a significant amount of "pilling". You can see all the little "U's" of the stitching coming out further, appearing to be loose. I have my doubts about the longevity of these socks. My last socks lasted me over 3 years under the same conditions (same home) and I had no pilling or ripping from snags on the floor. Having said that, they are comfortable and they do fit well. I am considering a return.
The socks have been okay so far, but ever single pair have required a trim. Where the seams on the corners of the toe box met, there was a good sized ball of material that had to be trimmed off with scissors before they could be worn. This was in every pair. It's not a big deal to trim them, but I have concerns about how long they will last in the wash with that spot trimmed out.
I bought these specifically for the "no-show" aspect but unfortunately that is not the case. They definitely show in all pairs of shoes, so a major disappointment in that respect. Aside from that, they make for excellent ankle socks made with high quality and comfort in mind. Take the "no show" out if equation, then 5 stars but was what I wanted.
I mean, they're ankle socks, so can't really expect a ton from them. The nice thing about ordering multiples is you can toss them one at a time (i'm sure they could be darned, but that's outside of my skillset) without ruining a pair.
They don't slip off your heel, so that's a nice feature.
A bit cheap. They will start to show thread pulls after one wash and fall apart after a couple of washes. But they are comfy. For the price I was,KT expecting much but figured being Saucy they might last... nope. Perhaps they are a knock-off imitation cause I thought Saucony was a reputable brand.
