I love this. I have very curly, frizzy hair that I have to re-curl every morning for a smooth & polished look. It’s a lot of work. I read sleeping in a silk cap might cut down some of that work. Without the cap, my hair was matted, frizzy and the waves/curls were stretched out & straggly in the morning. Now, with the cap, I only have to do some minor fixes to my bangs and that’s it! No re-curling my entire head. The curls are still there and look perfect! What used to take me 20 minutes, only takes me 5 now. And I’m not burning & damaging my hair every day! I love this cap!
Easily frayed, poor design and doesn't stay on at night no matter what I do. If you buy this you might want to wear something on top of it to keep it on at night. Also, I have to turn it inside out because the silk side was manufactured on the outside. The design doesn't make much sense tbh. I don't know if this is actual silk but it does help my hair as far as softness goes. I like to put it in after I blow dry my hair, it helps soften and smooth the cuticle.
I normally don't do reviews, but I think I have important information. This is really nice except that its inside out!! the whole point of satin caps is that the shiny, silky side is supposed to touch your head so that it reduces friction and prevents hair damage. It isn't a problem however, because you can just flip it to the "right" side. It'll look like you're wearing it "inside out" because of the stitching but it doesn't matter what it looks like because you're just sleeping on it anyway. As far as the fit goes, it is really big on me unless I tie the little flaps together to make it tighter, but I have a very small head so I don't think this would be a problem for most people. I have no issues with it falling off when I tie it like that and it works really well.
Cheap knock off of a silk scarf. You have to flip inside out to see any difference with frizz but then it’s moving around and needing to be readjusted all night. Regardless of how you wear it, your curls will be flattened and/or frizzy in the morning.
