We bought this for our recent visit to France (a compulsory purchase, along with the GB sticker). The set is for 2 people, and includes 6 boules, with a jack. The boules are marked with stripes along them to identify whose they are when playing.
The metal boules are much heavier than the cheaper plastic alternatives, and as such I would recommend these for adults only. They do throw and play much better than plastic ones, but obviously can cause nasty injuries if kids are messing around, or if hands get trapped between them!
I have a small concern with how long the carry case will hold up. It feels quite flimsy given how heavy the boules are, though they are obviously not going to get damaged outside the case. This set looks like it will last for years to come, and we'll be happily playing in France in future.
