I've always used these tyres for my bike and they don't let me down. The only downside to them is that the grip isn't quite there on slippy gravel so the back wheel may slide out but other than that they're perfect for summer
Copertoni che trasmettono una sensazione di sicurezza unica. Non mi hanno mai mollato e, in discesa, sono uno che molla i freni! Ormai è il terzo treno che monto e non ho il coraggio di mollarli per provare altro. Una garanzia!!
These can be good tires, but you're playing the lottery in buying them. If you get a good one, it makes a great a tire for many terrain types with low rolling resistance and good durability. If you get a bad one, you'll never get to ride a single mile on it, because the sidewalls will leak and the tire will never seal up properly on your rims.
These were my wife's choice of racing tire for 2 seasons, so I've had the chance to install several of them, and I'm at a 75% bad-tire rate. 3 out of every 4 tires has been returned because the sidewalls had large holes in them.
There are other tires on the market with similar performance characteristics that enjoy better quality control. My suggestion is not to play the lottery with the Ralphs. But if you do, buy a pile of them, because only a fraction of them are going to work.
I replaced my stock tires with Racing Ralphs and the difference is amazing! The stock tires gripped the trail fine, but were heavy. I weighed my stock tires and the racing ralphs when I was installing, and I saved a full pound! You can't believe the difference in acceleration until you put some high quality tires on your ride. The racing ralphs have also been very grippy on the trail. I ride mostly hardpack trails with lots of tree roots and quite a few sandy areas. The tires have performed great in all conditions. Buy them, you will love em!
They are pricey but you get what you pay for! Fast rolling, great on hard pack and muddy conditions both. I wouldnt run them in extreme conditions but for cross country they work excellent. They wear pretty well considering the soft compound but good race tires always do. Excellent tubeless choice, dont run them on the road if you want them to last a little longer.
I race xc so its important to have traction and less weight. They give me more confidence than any tire. 5 star for sure. Haven't experienced a tear inthe sidewall like many have stated and iI've put these to the test.
Grippy and fast on our local trails which consist of DG and packed sand/gravel with loose marbles on the surface. The wide spaced knobs get through the loose surface to the hardpack and sticks well in the turns for such a fast rolling tire. Don't know about the wear yet, but given the grip I suspect that will be the trade-off for speed. Can't have everything.
