Il filo non misura 500mt come da descrizione e come scritto sulla bobina, ma sono 300 mt. Avendo un mulinello che tiene 300 metri, questa bobina è bastata giusta giusta. Mezza truffa scrivere 500 ma sono 300mt
Absolutely superb line. Amazing diameter for the breaking strain. I bought 6lb and its as fine as a lot of 4lb line I have. Its so strong, no worries there. It knots up well and not had any slippage. It seems to have little stretch too, more like a flouro than mono, a really good happy medium I'd say. Great quality and would highly recommend to anyone. Jim Bought more line since this, amended 14/03/2019 I have been using this blade line by Seaknight for some time now, this I think is the 4th spool ive ordered. I have used a few different breaking strains for different applications and I honestly can NOT fault this line. it has superior strength to much more expensive lines, it has little memory for a mono, superb to knot and great resistance to abrasion. I really cant see past this line at the moment and trust me I do a lot of fishing ! I use 15 for my pike and surf fishing. 4 and 5lb for perch fishing and 6lb for my coarse feeder/method fishing for the carp and bream and to put it plainly, this line has never let me down. I forgot to mention ! the line is super thin in diameter to most other popular makes. I'd say the 6lb line is about the same as most other 4lb lines you will buy, approx 0.16mm. trust me, use this line and you wont look back !! 10 out of 10. (Might be also worth a mention, if you are in the market for a decent reel, you have to check out seaknight reels, awesome. I have 5 in various sizes and again, they ooze quality and all at a great price, thanks, Jim)
I've not been fishing for a good few years but since this is something we are allowed to do as part of the new abnormal I thought I would take it up again so dug out the rods and reels. My old line was a bit rotten looking so I ordered this and I was astounded at how thin it was compared to my old line considering they are both 8lbs breaking strain. I'm getting much longer smoother casts and is a good strong line, I'm impressed and would recommend it.
Bought from SK-fishing and received in 3 days. Not used yet, but the line is a good neutral colour, and I measured the 20lb at .39mm diameter. This is pretty thin for a line of this strength if the poundage is accurate, and it seems strong. Daiwa Sensor is about £1 more, but I measure Diawa 18lb at .41mm. The only disadvantage of this line over the Diawa is that the SeaKnight is definitely more stretchy, which makes it less sensitive, and probably more prone to knot, -as it tends to slowly shrink again when not under tension. It retains memory of knots too, but not much more than the Diawa. If I find any problems on the shore, I'll update.
Used this line hooked 5 fish lost 5 fish. Every time the line snapped soon as any pressure was added. If I could give zero stars i would. I'd give this line a wide berth and spend a bit more for some proper line!!
I bought it to use with my new rod for boat fishing. As soon as I was tying the knots in the spool it was breaking but I managed to roll it and when I was fishing today, after the second cast, the line broke sending my rig and the lead cast into the sea.
Sensing the problem yesterday night, I bought a new line reel from the bait shop in the morning in case this breaks, and this saved my fishing day. Cheap product. will not buy again. stay clear.
This line is not fit for purpose; considering the price tag it's nothing short of rubbish. It doesn't knot well and the line retains memory really badly, so much so that it jumps off the spool when the bail arm of a fixed-spool reel is opened, giving the angler an instant bird's nest.
Using the 16lb breaking strain no 4.0, 0.32mm diameter with a spinning rig and have had no end of bird's nests during casting. It was OK for the first 30 odd casts then despite using double swivels etc I spent more time untangling than fishing. Tried removing 50 meters of line and replacing but the same problem ensued. Not a line that I would buy again.
This was not especially cheap, or supple. After using for a while i decided it was not supple or stretchy enough. I have since brought other line cheaper that is more supple, stretchy and thinner diameter per lb breaking strain. I would not buy again.
