Product description

The Alert Combo pack combines Ammonia Alert and pH Alert. Ammonia Alert and pH Alert are almost half the size of competing products. At 1.5-inch x 2.5-inch, they are small, clear and unobtrusive, so they won't detract from the view of your aquarium. Simply place Ammonia Alert and pH Alert visibly anywhere in the aquarium or filter. It's that easy. No chemicals or test procedures are required.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Easy Aquarium Maintenance"
By Natasha on 6 August 2020
The indicators work really well and are very accurate. I like being able to quickly look at the indicator to evaluate the PH and especially Ammonia in the tank. I also test with chemicals and both have same readings.

When taking plastic packaging off indicator take care not to touch the middle circle as it may damage your indicator. I didn't realise that was the "reader" part so be careful.

They don't interfere with my fishy or the look of my aquarium. When you have added an ammonia binder it does take a while for the indicator to start displaying lower levels in my experience.

My lights aren't the brightest so I do use my phone light to shine on indicator to see the colour.

Will definitely order again.

1.0 out of 5 stars Completely inaccurate

The PH reading doesn't work at all. It shows 5.4 or lower. My measured reading using a test kit is 6.6.

1.0 out of 5 stars PH inaccurate.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 October 2018
My actual ph is 6.4 in a shrimp tank.
This thing read between 6.6 and 7.
With the lights off it read MAYBE 6.6.
The one star is for the poop customer service: Seachem actually stated my ph alert was normal and working as it should be, even though they agreed it read between 6.6 and 7.
No apology, refund or replacement even though they initially offered to send one out but then no.
I used JBL test kit droppers multiple times to test the water and my tank of highly ph sensitive shrimp has active substrate in that keeps the ph low.
It’s just way too iffy, maybe ok for some use but their customer service was just annoying to me.
Amazon gave a refund.
