I tested this mic on two DSLR camera and both got bad audio output because of this... And also i didn't get an leather pouch with this microphone , whereas on the box its mentioned.
My suggestion. Dont waste money on this cheap product, instead u can make a better one at home yourself.
The sound quality is great, the Mic great. No problems there. Everything else that comes with the Mic is VERY cheaply made. The stand for which the microphone should be installed onto almost IMMEDIATELY broke during installation. The mount is made of a very thin, cheap-feeling plastic. If you do some research on this MIC on Youtube, you'll see several individuals broke their stand during the unboxing so please be aware. Other than that, a very good, affordable mic compared to what is available out there.

UPDATE: I found out what I was doing wrong, now the audio is noticeably better. The thing is my cellphone is in a protective case so when I plugged the microphone in it wasn't going all the way in. I took the case off and heard a click when pushing the plug in and that made all the difference in the world. It's working perfectly now.
