To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
They do not fit entirely, leaving the bottom exposed. I returned them as well as the Arlo wireless camera system which in my opinion is not a perfected system. If want security cameras, hard wire is the ONLY way you should go. This is my review of the wireless camera system:
I will not write a long winded review to save you the heartaches. In a nutshell, they don't disclose all the variables you must take into consideration when dealing with "Wireless Cameras". You will discover in a very short time that this technology is not in any way perfected and when the low battery prompts come up, device not connected to the internet prompts come up you will be directed to a chat room where you'll spend countless hours trying to find the answers to your questions. Oh did I mention constant prompts to update the cameras firmware!
If you locate these cameras far from the router, they will drain battery power, if you expect these to record 24/7 forget it! If you put them in difficult to reach locations, be prepared to recharge them regularly which could mean every day, two days three days etc. I installed mine on 11/26/2016 set to record for 30 seconds at 50% motion sensitivity, armed them for only 12 hours. On 11/28/2016 one camera lost all power, the remaining was down to 15% charged. Enough Said, I'm sending them back and having a HARD WIRED system Installed.
