Plug and play, that's always nice. And the outputs worked properly. Just wish the power adapter had a much longer cord, it was tricky setting up because it was so short (ideally no power cord required would have been the goal). Also could have used a stub HDMI cable to start (this was an extra piece i had to dig up to do the setup). otherwise very satisfied.
Don't waste your time and money on this product. Ordered the first one for the tv in my pool room and it lasted two days. Christmas day it was working properly both upstairs and downstairs and suddenly lost sound but kept picture. Ordered another one thinking it was a fluke and it also was defective right out of the box. The primary tv upstairs worked fine but no audio downstairs unless you turned off the upstairs tv at which time the sound would come back on the downstairs tv. Should have read more revues prior to buying. Done!!!
Replaced a Nextec 1 by 4 splitter that I've been using for over 4 years but recently started to have issues with more than 2 outlets used. Also it always had a 30 sec handshake issue when I turned any tv on. It'd come on then go black before picture would resume. This splitter for the last 3 weeks has be working great using 3 outlets only but still I'm happy with it so far!
Hooked this up to my raspberry pi retropie setup with 3 identical tvs and a projector. Same picture displayed on all 4 devices like I wanted. I didn't notice any video lag but I did notice that while the TV on output 1 was at regular volume level, the other tvs received a much quieter signal. Ie, TV 1 was at Volume level 20 while TV 2 and 3 had to be at Volume level 80 to all be at the same loudness. Not a deal breaker, just an fyi.
