My son is still super short and this potty is just not going to be possible for him to position himself on alone. Many reviews said it was too little for their kids, so I thought we'd be good, but I guess not! I measured it beforehand, but didn't really think of how it would work with the removable potty seat. All in all, it seems fine and we'll keep it around in hope of a growth spurt before he's fully ready to transition. I think the 'splash guard' if you can call it that, is going to be more of a hindrance than anything. The look is nice, sounds are good, cleans and dissemble easy enough. It is pretty light, but doesn't slip around too much. Oh and the wipey holder is also probably useless. It's so small I'll have to just manually stuff some wipes in it.
The flush knob is fun, the seat is the perfect height. It is easy to remove the basin to clean, so easy in fact my toddler likes to remove it and attempt to fling the contents into the toilet. So it requires a bit of supervision on our part. I love that the seat can also go on an adult potty and my toddler loves it too. The flushing knob can be a bit distracting and the compartment in the back is always empty as my toddler loves to remove anything I put in there.
Very cute! I love that it's realistic! I do wish it had a sensor to alert you when your little one pees...I can't always tell when mine does because he doesn't alert me or act like he knows he did it and I like to try to cheer for him when he does. I have to make him stand up to see If he did. Haven't had any issues with his pee coming out as some said. It was a little hard for him getting seated on it, but he got the hang of it quickly. Love that it has a wipe compartment!
I like that it looks like a real toilet. I dont like the guard thing on the front of the seat. It is also too short for my 36 inch tall 2 year old. He wants to stand up to pee and the seat and hight of the toilet makes it difficult. It should have an adjustable height or extra bottom part to make it taller.
Love this little potty. My only issue is that the seat hole is a little big and it makes it uncomfortable for my daughter to use. She is on the small side though so it probably won't be an issue for others.
