For truck caps that require more than 20ft of seal use Super Cap Seal 23ft (ASIN: B00C7VU9BA). Super moisture barrier double bulb seal prevents dust, fumes and water from invading the interior of a truck bed. Easily trims in half to fit trucks with smaller width front bed rails. NOTE: To determine if you need to use a Front Rail Seal 6ft (ASIN: B00C0WVV72) measure the difference in height from the truck's side bed rails (including, if any, bed rail caps) to the truck's front bed rail. If the height of the gap is .250" or less install Super Cap Seal only. If the height of the gap is from .251" to .487" install Front Rail Seal on the cap's front base rail and install Super Cap Seal 20ft on the cap's side base rails. If the height of the gap is extra large, from .488" to .875" install Super Cap Seal 20ft or 23ft on the cap's front and side base rails and install Front Rail Seal on the truck's front bed rail. OTHER QUALITY TRUCK CAP SEALS FROM EXTRUDED SOLUTIONS (ESI): Premium Cap Seal XL 23ft (ASIN: B00IPQR63A) measures 2" wide and fills small to medium bed rail gaps, for caps 200 lbs or less. Super Cap Seal XL 23ft (ASIN: B00JAMSLDM) measures 2 1/8" wide and is for trucks with extra wide bed rails, fills all bed rail gaps, for caps over 200 lbs. Ultra Cap Seal 23ft (ASIN: B00MPMBIZW) measures 1 1/2" wide and fills all bed rail gaps, for caps over 200 lbs. This double-tubed truck canopy seal tape is just what I needed to keep the constant, always raining Pacific Northwest weather out of my truck bed! That double tube works MUCH better than the flat seal tape that was originally on the canopy topper. On the plus side, it raised up my canopy ever so slightly so that now my tailgate does not "drag" on the bottom of the canopy when closing it, and the rear door latch seems to work better now. I guess I needed that extra 1/4" (after compression) to make things work right! By the way, one roll of this stuff fit the front and sides of my canopy for my 6.5" truck bed on my Toyota Tundra. I had about 15 inches left over, and I was generous on the corners with plenty of overlap.
The down side of my installation is, I have plastic rail caps on the sides of my truck bed but nothing on the front rail of the bed, so it left a gap where I could see a little daylight between the canopy seal and the front of the truck bed. I fixed that with 1/2" pipe wrap insulation that I pulled onto the aluminum rail that sticks out on the front of my canopy. No worries, no leaks now! I would buy this stuff again.

This cap seal is WAY better than the cheap, foam seal available at my local auto parts store. It's high-quality material, and it installs easily. For best results, flip the cap upside down (on its top). I allowed a few minutes of "cure" time before reinstalling the cap. Even though I had to slide the cap into place, the seal stayed put. I am very satisfied.

This was to replace standard foam double stick tape for a truck cap on our 1980 Toyota pickup. It came with cleaning pads and rubber filler. After cleaning the tops of the rails and filling the holes we went about putting the seal on. The seal is very sticky so ensure you are ready when you start and done have to try and pull it off, that doesn't end well trust me. Once we hit the corners it took a little bit to find scissors that would cut it, then to cut it at the right angle was trouble. The instructions included have pictures but for us they were unhelpful. We did figure it out after a few try's and everything went off as planned.It works great and seals very well.
