The product information says this comes with a CD. This is misleading. I only received the book. I believe the CD and book combo is a separate order so looks like I will have to return and replace which is a bit annoying. I'm sure I'll like it once I get everything I thought I was ordering.
This item comes without a CDReviewed in Canada on 12 September 2018
I was totally distraught when I realized that the book didn't come with the companion CD. I was going to return the book and reorder the book+CD combo but seeing as CDs are becoming obsolete anyways, we ended up buying the album from iTunes.
Great songs!Reviewed in the United States on 11 December 2015
Our teacher uses the materials but doesn't follow strict Suzuki methodology, which we both think is too rigid and emphasizes technique over creative expression. It seems to be working because our daughter is a wonderfully nuanced player even though she is still very young. The songs in these books are excellent. They make her feel that she is playing "real music" with names like Bach, Beethoven and Mozart attached and they impress the heck out of her friends (and us!).
