very convenient and my child loves the theme

I love it, my child loves it, it keeps his water cool at his school, we are in Australia and this is important. I lost the previous one, that is why purchased this one. I have tried so many drinking bottles and this one is the best. It is not fragile, the spout part is made perfectly for drinking comparing to others from supermarkets, and it keeps the temperature well. Probably would be interested in a larger volume with star wars theme, not an adult yet, but still for a kid. :)

This review is for people planning on putting this in their kids backpacks and sending them to school with it.

First off, you won’t find it mentioned here, but once you receive the bottle one of the first things you’ll note is that it’s not recommended for hot drinks. It just keeps water colder, longer.

So the whole insulated part is pointless. It’s just makes it heavier and smaller.

Which brings me to my next point, this bottle is heavy and very small. You’ll be disappointed with the amount of liquid it holds and your kids will finish it daily.

It leaks. Ok? No more excuses, no tips or tricks on “how to get it to stop leaking”, it. Leaks. I have two, they both leak. They are fundamentally flawed in their design. The air hole for the straw leaks. It always leaks. They are a constant source of frustration. We have to ensure and stress that they always stay upright, or try to triple check and test that the lid knob thing lines up perfect with the straw hole. It’s ridiculous.

So let’s recap, no hot drinks, heavy, small, leaks.....what else was there?

Oh right!

Crazy overpriced!

Disgusted. I don’t usually write reviews but feel compelled. I bought two more of these cups for my daughter as I quite like the one she has already. They both arrived same day. This green cup has what appears to be peanut butter or a similar substance in the button as well as on the top of the lid (once I flipped the lid open). I thought there is no way the cup is used, until until I opened the thermos and the straw was already attached (the new paw patrol funtainer straw was loose) and the instructions sticky was unsealed. I cannot believe amazon would resell a used cup. I’m equal parts disgusted and sickened.

Great bottles, but a couple of issues with delivery and actual product received

My kids and I love these drink bottles (as they keep liquids cold for hours, are sturdy, come in a great range of designs and are generally leak proof - straws may need replacing after some time to maintain the leak proof function but replacement straws are available from Thermos and are inexpensive). We have been using them for years. So I would give the bottles five stars.

However my reduced rating (3 stars) is due to the supplier. The delivery time was great, but unfortunately one of the bottles (I ordered two) was dented in two places around the base. It can still be used (so I didn't bother with returning it) but it was very dissapointing as you can clearly see the dents and my 3 year old daughter saw them straight away.

And more frustrating for us is that the product actually does not have a handle on top of the bottle as per the photos. My daughter specifically wanted a handle on her next water bottle (cause her brothers bottle has one) so this was also dissapointing. I/she was desperate for the "Frozen" design so I have kept them (I ordered two) but do be aware.

Inside the thermos that I had bought for my child to my surprise, I happen to have found a chocolate bar opened ..gross... seem like the person wrapping my order was enjoying it and had some bites and then thought it would be funny to play a joke maybe....or what was in your head when you did that???...very disappointed......I am returning this item now
