I must admit, that upon purchasing this product, I'm quite dissapointed. It's not what I expected; and its very difficult to set-up. Additionally, when I tried it, I found that there was no resistance. They need better instructions and much more manageable conveyor belt systems.
It’s a great product but save your money and buy the TRX to go. I bought this one for my wife to use at home and bought the travel one to take with me when I travel. Both sets were exactly the same except this one has a rudimentary workout book. Even though both offer online workout guides. The included workout book is not worth the $50 difference.
whislt the suspension trainer is good quality and easy to set up/get to grips with. I have had a huge problem trying to access any content/workout plans that was supposedy included.
I tried to register the straps in Jan 2020 (purchased in early Dec 2019) customer service took a week reply, only to tell me that the serial number was not on their database. still awaiting updates two weeks later.
also the official TRX mobile app is incredably poor. despite me registering an account i cant never log in meaning again no access to any official content.
All this means that as i have to find unoffical workout plans online, instead of using the premium I purchased with this product!
you expect to have the security of customer service when you buy official products at higher cost. at this point im thinking I might as well have bought a cheaper alternative
I was looking for exercise equipment that wouldn't take too much space in the home and that I could easily take with me while travelling. The TRX is ideal. It's so versatile that you can pretty much do most exercises with it and it's so light but strong that you can slip it back into the TRX bag and throw it in the suitcase. At home, you do need a hook to attach it to. I bought the following from Amazon and attached it to a beam:
With all these types of equipment, it's a case of just doing it and you'll get the result. Diet obviously plays a bigger part than just exercise. So if you are looking to tone up and lose weight you'll need to consider a lifestyle change to get the results you want.
This is a great suspension trainer. Holds my weight no problem. It is very well made and you can tell it is good quality, it is the same one I use in the gym(when it was open). The code that came with it worked fine, so now I have access to some really useful online features. Would recommend this product if you are looking into using something like this.
An amazing piece of kit. You can do a full workout with this suspension trainer and take it with you everywhere. On holiday, outside, in your home. Its fantastic! I'm a PT and will certainly use it with clients too.
Exceeded expectations - so many different workouts and plenty of them incredibly hard like lifting heavy weights. It's better if you can suspend it i.e. free hang it rather than use the door thing, because there are many exercises with feet in the loops where against a door that is annoying
