The watch strap lacks the suppleness of leather; instead, it feels stiff and has the texture of plastic. What's more disappointing is the price... Around $17 (excluding shipping) there are copious alternatives that are much better quality.

Absolutely useless. The pleather is stiff like plastic. While the width of the straps fit my watch correctly, the pins barely protrude out the sides of the straps to hold the watch. Any pressure from wrist movement, laying your hand onto a surface and especially when making this stiff band tight enough around your wrist will cause the pins to pop out and the watch falls off. However, if you're just putting the band on and will never wear the watch, it's awesome.

I liked everything! This has to be one of the best purchases I have ever made! Here's why: Quality, value, and fast service. I have never seen anything like this watch band! A great leather strap, came with 2 sets of pins (1 set already installed in the band half's) and 1 spare set, I have never saw anything like this, the pins have a little bead attached that protrudes from a small slot in each band retracting the pin for ease of installation (took me 1 minute the put them on my watch!!!) Also, received with the purchased a cool little multi purpose tool for removing that x-brand old watch band. If you buy a new watch band here your going to like what get - you bet 'yum! Fake Leather Band

This is a fake synthetic leather band, likely made in china. It does not really seem to be hand crafted either...maybe assembled. The backing will crack and flake quickly... I've attached photos of a real leather band and this fake one for reference.

I would have ordered a different more expensive band if I would have known this was fake synthetic leather.

I wasn't expecting a ton from this band, but I have to say I'm impressed! Leather is decent, stitching looks good as well. It's a "padded" strap which normally means to me the band is going to be a bit stiff, and it is. But it's not overly stiff. Spring bar tool is a nice addition. The great thing is this band has the levered spring bars that are easy to install, and even comes with a couple spares.

Be Careful with this product

The leather is surprisingly better quality than I was expecting for the price, however, be careful with the metal pieces. In particular the indents for the piston holding the buckle in place are not deep and the buckle will fly off. I had another buckle from a timex that I used instead which had holes drilled through. I may use a drill press and fix the original buckle.
