To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
There are better Sylvia Woods books available, along with better tutor books for the small harp. This feels a little old school, and could do with an update in style in every way. Good points are the spiral binding which enables the book to lie flat, and the explainations are good for care/restringing/tuning basics.
Sylvia Woods' directions are easy to follow . She gives the impression of enjoying everything about the harp. This helps the pupil to learn. Her teaching is done in a relaxed fashion , though it is obvious that she has been playing a long time and knows what she is doing. After this book I shall move on to the next.
