I ordered a 10.5 extra wide the lenght fits however very tight fit on the top of my foot. Will try to wear thinner socks but I enjoy the thicker socks with my shoes. I will say the comfort of the shoe while wearing is great and believed if it fit looser on my foot would be the greatest shoe. I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger to ensure the shoe fits better. Good shoe overall.
I still like how these shoes feel but I've now owned about 6 pairs.. Seems every pair is less and less durable.. I am not in construction, I"m an office person and these are falling apart now in 6 months. Soles coming off.
I love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable even with the weight of a steal toe shoe. My first pair was brown and they did scuff up rather quickly. I purchased black ones about 15 months ago and they still look good. I have a professional job and will wear these into the office as they look fine for business casual. I do allot of physical activity outside of work and they have held up great. These are my everyday shoes and the sole is starting to wear after 15 months so I'll be buying another pair. One reviewer noted the soles wore out quick. Mine were starting to wear quickly too until I put in a good pair of orthodix I got from my Dr's office.
I chose these boots because of the Timberland reputation. I was disappointed to find that the quality of these boots did not meet my expectations. Two days after receiving these boots the soles started making a popping sound like they are coming unglued inside. I probably would not purchase Timberland brand again.
They are nice, but for my wide feet, the toe box was just a little too narrow, even though I ordered the 14 Wide size. I buy the Hyperion boots and the toe box is fine on those. These are the first Timberland work boots/shoes that I have bought where this has been a problem.
A well made shoe that cut my big toe bloody because of the edge of the steel toecap insert being too tight a fit. I had bought the extra-wide fit in a suitable length for my foot to avoid this issue. Unfortunately even this precaution did not make the shoe wearable for me. It was a while before I tried the shoe on; the 'return window' closed, so I am stuck with two pairs of these which I cannot wear. One pair is in its box unopened, the other pair is used once and also has original box.
