Timberland has missed the boat in their Pro line. This was the 4th of 5 pair o bought and returned. The first pair were too tight at a whole size larger and had been worn before they were sent to me. The last pair I bought were pinching in the ankles and left me hobbling to my car for my old shoes. Unfortunately they got chemicals in them or in would send them back, too!
The shoe didn't feel right when it arrived and gave me a blister the 1st time I walked a half hour in it. I considered returning it but am glad I did not. The inside coating around the right heel had a rough spot where the blister was and the right foot didn't fit as well as the left. The seconcd problem was corrected by replacing the inserts and the first by wearing it long enough to smooth out the rough spot. The things I bought it for are all there: Has a safty toe. Looks like a shoe rather than a boot. Plain black: no logos, no pictures, no silly comments Holds up well when worn hiking or farming and still looks good enough to ware to the office. Not as heavy as a work boot.
We love these shoes. my husband works out doors in the desert and these shoes really protect his feet. also they never have to be broken in. They are comfortable from day one. this is our 2nd or 3rd pair. he just wears the heck out of them and they last.
I purchased these shoes for my significant other for work. As far as I can tell, he is very happy with the shoes. He did mention that the steel toe made them a bit heavier, but it's not that noticeable. They fit true to size, he's a size 10 and looked exactly as they did online. They arrived promptly, brand new, unworn, in their original box. Hope this helps.
Shoes themselves were good, comfortable at first but lost a little once I broke them in. However the soles of these shoes are garbage. Three months after I bought them the soles split on both shoes, they became horribly uncomfortable, and living in Minnesota I walk in a lot of snow so my feet were constantly soaked. Usually any shoes/boots I buy last me at least a year or more but I had to replace these after only four months. Do not recommend.
