I think the quality and the feel of the shoe is very good. I'm an engineer in a manufacturing company. I'm required to wear the safety toe shoes. I bought these because they looked as if they resembled a casual dress shoe. I wanted something to go with my slacks and button down shirts that would not stand out.
The shoe works well in my environment. It is most comfortable.
I would like people to know the color is a much lighter brown than in the image. (Not much of an issue at this point - really.)
The only thing i was a little disappointed in is the shoe looks more like a boot than a casual dress shoe. That is probably my fault. It just looked like similar "dress safety shoes" I have purchased in the past. Some things need to be bought in person I guess.
I don't want that to detract from the fact it seems to be a good product. (I'm only in my second month with them.)
these shoes are extremely expensive ad they are too tight at the front. Go to red wings and buy you real steel toe shoes instead. These is the third and last time I buy shoes from Timberland. All three of the pair I bought from the brand have been garbage!
I've had good luck with Timberland boots and this pair has been no different. While they are a bit heavy the fit is comfortable after oiling and a few days of wear. The sole is rugged enough for no slippage but not overly rugged to load up. Overall very pleased.
As title says, best I have every owned. I work in a 12 hour department nearly on my feet the entire time. They are absolutely comfortable and needed no "break in" period. They hold up great to strong oils and other nasty fluids I come in contact with. I have recommended these to everyone I know. I defiantly recommend you buy these ASAP, you will not regret it.
First time I have used this style. Timberland brand has always been good. I have had this pair about two or three months and they have held out good. I am a tradesman and use them in a factory floor setting. The shoes look scuffed up but are still comfortable.
I had a pair of these safety shoes for 6 years wearing them ~30-40% of working days. The original pair were comfortable so I bought a replacement pair of the exact same shoes with exactly the same size (12). I wore them around the house for a couple of hours and things were fine. The first trip to a customer site wearing them longerand I noticed my left big toe had some numbness at the end of the day. I wore them some more for full days and experienced a lot of numbness on my left toes. I don't know if I can keep wearing them.
I was extremely disappointed that I could order the same shoes at the same size and they don't fit the same. I missed the 30 day return guarantee as I didn't wear them to a work site right away.
