Got these for my wife & she loves them. They fit well & as expected. She wears 8 & we ordered her a 9. They are a little large in the toe but not bad. But she has really short toes. I think someone who wears 8 but has longer toes might not have this problem with a 9. We ordered the size larger because some people said the toe area was a little tight. I think this may depend on how long your toes are compared to total foot length. But the extra room in the toe isn't enough to bother her. They are insulated throughout & keep her feet warm in cold weather. Keep in mind we are from the south & freezing (32° F) is cold to us. They kept her feet dry in the rain too. They are really good quality & look great for the price. I'm really glad we ordered these instead of buying more expensive from the store.
I am not wowed by these boots at all. The sherpa lining is nothing like what you expect from "sherpa". Its not warm at all.. the "lining" is very thin. I had warmer socks on and my toes were still frozen. I sized up so I'll be able to wear thicker socks next time. If you are looking for warm boots, these are not it.
I am giving this 2 stars for style....otherwise this really are uncomfy. I wanted to love these so bad, but I wound up returning them. The soles have zero padding and feels like your walking on straight rubber. They just really hurt my feet. I plan to invest in a higher quality "duck" style boot at another time.
The shoe isn't as comfortable as the description indicates. The sole of the shoe is extremely thin, almost fees like you're walking on bare feet, you can seemingly feel every rock and groove in the ground. For the price of the shoe however, add an additional sole and you'll be fine! The shoe otherwise looks great!
