Great quality denim, name of fit is misleading

I was excited to try these out as I've had the Weird Guy jeans from Naked and Famous, which are also a tapered fit. These jeans however - ARE NOT - a traditional tapered fit. The 34"inseam didn't help either, but the jeans were seemed comically wide from the knee down. They were much closer to a typical straight leg jean you'd find from Costco or Walmart, rather than tapering from the knee down. The waist and thighs fit fine, which was nice since I struggle to find jeans that fit me. If you're looking for a slimmer pair of denim, look elsewhere as these will not be the right fit for you.

Great jeans. I like the wash, and the quality feels solid. The belt loops leave a lot to be desired, both in their placement and their width. There's literally 2"+ space in there. Belts move all over the place. The rise is also ball-crushingly low. Oh, and the pockets are damn near impossible to get your phone in and out of (tight), especially if you're wearing a belt. Otherwise, they're very flattering. Still snugish in the thighs if you've got big legs, but with a nice taper. My girlfriend loves these jeans on me in a big way.

This is my first pair of raw jeans and I'm very impressed by the overall quality. The material is rigid and makes my other jeans seem like cheap sweatpants. The color is a shade more purple than the typical blue jeans because the dye color is true indigo (and be careful because the dye will rub off--i cold soaked mine to set the dye). This is the only pair of jeans that fits correctly: long enough to cuff, slim but not restricting leg opening, sits below the waist at the underwear line. If you do any type of leg workouts, the extra room in the thighs is a must. These fit me perfectly but if your thighs are bigger than 24 inches this cut might not fit you.

I'm 6'2" with a pretty standard 34 waist. I had to order the size 34 (with the 35.5" waist) and it's pretty snug. You definitely need to size up on these things. The rest fits pretty well, I don't have massive thighs but they're not small either and i have a bit of room the whole way down.

Gorgeous jeans, overall comfortable and well made.
