This product has been a life savor! My baby is 7 months old and we decided to use the same monitor that we used for my son (it’s about 2 years old). My son slept in our room for the first year of life, so we didn’t invest in a super costly monitor, & we figured it would be the same for the new baby. However, she’s been in her crib for a few months now and the monitor was working great, until she started grabbing it at night and causing it to become disconnected. Plus there was the fear of the power cord.

I happened to turn to amazon, figuring there would be some product that would help solve this issue, and I found this product!! She can no longer grab the monitor, power cords are kept at a safe distance, I have a better view of her in her crib, AND it saved us so much money because we would have needed to purchase a different monitor.

Sturdy for all monitors

I was a little skeptical of this product but needed to try it. I didn’t want to drill and put holes in my walls for our baby monitor, and leaving it on the crib days were over since my baby girl could get to it. Also I wanted to be able to see the whole crib bc she moves around a lot, I just feel better having a set of eyes on my girl. This product has helped me do so. It’s surprisingly very sturdy and holds my gigantic monitor very well and in place which I didn’t think it would. I’m sure once she gets older and realizes it’s there I will have to move it but it’s so great to be able to angle it however you like. Glad I found this product!

I have an Eufy baby monitor and the first monitor holder I bought from amazon was the "FlexxiCam | Universal Baby Monitor Holder with Strap | Flexible Baby Camera Mount Shelf | No Drilling | A Safer Monitor Stand for Your Baby".

I had to return the FlexxiCam because it doesn't work with my Eufy monitor because the usb port was blocked. So I looked around and found this one which one of the reviews on amazon indicates that it works well with the Eufy monitor.

Here's what I think.

1) Item did not come in packaging like you would expect a product to be sent in. After opening the package with the Amazon logo on it, this item is inside a clear plastic bag with a small piece of scotch tape that seals the bag. The clear plastic bag also has a barcode on it but that's all there is to it. Did I get an item that was returned??? Not that the product isn't a good product but the packaging gave me a negative impression.

2) Requires a lot more effort to bend the gooseneck than the FlexxiCam. You have to really use some strength. On the other hand because the gooseneck is so stiff, you can use this to hold something way heavier and it won't budge. I'm thinking of using this as a stand for my mini fan that I want to put by the baby's crib. I'm sure it can hold items that are heavier than a mini fan.

3) I do wish it was 5 inches longer as I often need move the camera over to see another section of the room besides the crib. It would be nice if it was 5 inches longer so I don't need to undo the clamp and reclamp.

4) Love that the clamp fits into the small gaps of space of our crib. The FlexxiCam's clamp didn't fit well because it was a bit too big so it made the securing of the clamp awkward.

5) This monitor holder works well for the Eufy because the rubber on the clip grips very well whereas this was not the case with the FlexxiCam.

It's an ok arm. It's a bit awkward when it holds the camera and sometimes falls out if it's not totally secure. And then later when my daughter started standing up, she was able to pull this very easily and pull the wire/camera off. So we didn't get to use it for very long before having to just take it down.

Adds range to your camera

I don't have a typical baby monitor, I use a home security camera for this purpose that I can view on my phone. I had the camera positioned on a bookshelf above the crib but due to the position I couldn't use the panning feature of the camera. This works with my camera and allows me rotate the camera remotely to see the whole room. This works great for my needs, the only thing I didn't consider was the cord hanging down. I think if you had a completely wireless system this would be perfect. Since mine needs plugged into the wall, I still have to be careful to keep it out of reach from baby due to the cord. I can see myself using this even after the baby monitor is no longer needed just to keep an eye on things at home when I'm away.

We used this product when our child was in the bassinet mainly. It was nice to have this to hold the monitor upright rather than trying to find a place to put the monitor within viewing range of the bassinet. We liked seeing her during naps in our bedroom. We attempted to use it when we transitioned to the crib but the clamp wouldn’t secure well enough for us to feel it was safe. If you have something to clamp onto in the nursery that is within viewing range of the crib it would work great. The neck of the product is stiff and we had to really bend and twist to get it just right. We used it for about 12 weeks so for the money it was worth the buy!

Sturdy and Just what I was looking for!

This product did everything I needed it to do. We used it with our VTech Baby Monitor. We live in an apt and didn’t want to drill holes in the wall for the camera mount but needed something sturdy and dependable. This product delivered that. There is enough rubber in the “clip” that helps grip and prevents it from moving around. Our camera rotates at the base so I had to attach it to the wall mount and IT WORKED and really held! I can still rotate the camera and it stays in place. At first, bc of the length of the arm, I assumed it would lean or fall but I was so wrong. Whatever material is used really holds it’s shape whether upright or curved! So thankful to have found something that solves our problem!

Not the best for HelloBaby monitor

Very sturdy and easy to clamp onto things like a shelf (we clamp it to the curtain rod above the crib lol). The reason for 3 stars is because it does not work well with our HelloBaby pan-tilt-zoom camera. The camera itself is cylindrical so the clamps prevent it from rotating left and right. It can only tilt up and down. We still kept the mount to use and placed it directly above the crib and can tilt up and down to show the entire crib but if I ever put our LO to sleep in our bed (next to the crib) and sneak away while she’s asleep, I can’t rotate the camera to the bed. I’d have to physically adjust the way the camera is being held in the mount which is annoying.

Really like this monitor holder. It works very well—anywhere—is sturdy and well made. We bought the miku monitor for our baby and it’s pretty heavy so I wasn’t sure anything besides the $100 miku stand would work (naturally it was sold out anyway). However, another review mentioned the miku was compatible with this, so we went for it. So glad we did! We can take it anywhere, between bassinet, crib, or pack n play. It’s easy to use and strong. Great product made by a small business of college students, can’t go wrong with this purchase! Highly recommend!

This is not universal. It doesn't work with the baby monitor cameras that have 360-degree rotation (with Nooie Monitors). When the camera is rotating, it could possibly fall off on to your infant. As per my observation, the monitor holder is not holding the camera tightly and loosing very easily. Definitely, this mechanism is not good enough to hold your monitor and DO NOT PUT YOUR BABY IN DANGER…
