I purchased this to use when my grandson sleeps over. The picture quality is excellent. But the monitor is amazing. I love how clearly I can see this at night. The autosleep settings work well. Turns off unless it senses movement or sound (but is not triggered by the white noise machine). I did have trouble setting this up at first because I wanted to just place it on the dresser. It needs to be at a slight angle to work. I was able to figure out how to set it on the dresser with a slight slant. Gives me peace of mind when my Buddy is sleeping over!

The screen may be small but it's fine for me because I only need it for bedtime. It works while I'm across the street at my neighbors, the battery lasts all day and beeps when it's low. The volume isn't too loud or quiet for us. Picture quality is fine but when my kids running around it kind of lags like an android phone camera would, so if 1080p quality is what you want this isn't it. For 60$ I'd definitely buy again for another baby. Not to mention the monitor has been dropped several times and hasn't given any issues.
The only thing that's slightly frustrating is sometimes the buttons on the monitor to move the camera get stuck, so if I want to move the camera down, it may go up until I keep clicking down. Not the worst thing tho, I can deal. Definitely wish I invested in one of these sooner !

The picture is clear, the speaker is great on both camera and monitor. I love that the monitor has a stand. Don’t really use the lullaby features on it.
My fav part is the fact that it’s one camera but I can see the whole room because of the Pan motion it has. Great camera for the price and I don’t have to worry about getting hacked!

Overall I love this monitor. Top 3 features:
- dimmed screen: dims after no sound for a bit, I’m getting much better sleep without a bright monitor right next to me. Just tough a button to brighten
- Amazing sound: it picks up everything!
- additional visual alert: top tight corner of the HUGE screen flashes red and yellow when noise is detected. Sometimes I forget to turn the volume up so the light will get my attention

Complaints:
- no clock - I got used to using my old monitor to see what time it was in the middle of the night. I miss that.
- monitor is not touch-screen. To brighten the screen you have to touch a button which will move the camera or increase/decrease volume

That’s it! I’m extremely happy with it.

I was shocked at the enormous size of the parent monitor- it resembles a smaller-sized tablet! The picture quality is absolutely incredible. I can see my baby's little mouth twitching in his sleep even with the night vision. There is no lag with video and maybe one second lag in sound, if that. The camera angle captures everything and the tilt/rotation/zoom is excellent as well. As an anxious first-time mom, I highly recommend this to all parents who want peace of mind with their little one. I really have nothing bad to say about this camera!

Our toddler & infant share a bedroom, so it was important for us to have a baby monitor that we could toggle around to check in on both of them on opposite sides of the room at night! I feel like the picture is very clear during both day & night vision. And I love that I can talk through the monitor if my toddler needs a gentle reminder to actually lay down lol. Another huge thing that sold me, is that this does not use wifi, as I’m sure we have all heard of the scary risks of people hacking in & watching children through wifi monitors :( So that gives me a huge comfort knowing that risk is gone. It feels like it’s a more “old fashioned” monitor, but with modern perks!

I have looked up so many baby monitor and this was the best one I've found.
I didn't want one that was connected online because I didn't want to use my phone to watch her. It's nice to have a separate monitor that is on all the time. it shows you the temperature of the room baby is in, the sound detection is great, and the picture quality is sufficient. It's not HD, but it's good enough.
I just wish it can connect to a second camera.

Buy this over anything that connects to you internet. Range is pretty good but not great, sound quality is good but not great, picture is good but not great. All that being said it's still the best option on the market. Battery also is kinda trash but good enough for about 5 +/- hours, so long enough for nap time.

I have ordered a few different baby monitors that I was not happy with. This monitor is the best by far. The screen is large and picture quality is great, including the night vision. The wide angle is amazing and very helpful. It is beneficial when needing to have the monitor close by the crib or if you are wanting to see the whole room. It also comes with a mounting bracket that I did not receive with other vtech monitors. Love this one and highly recommend!
