Once again, the Watsons(Thomas and Tina) have managed to capture the attention of thousands if not millions. Viral 3 talks of the mechanics, logistics and training as well as the grit to survive in a global pandemic. The legendary Caravan Man and his Caravan have thinned out gangs and now approach folks who do not pillage, rape murder and burn but still consider themselves a gang, something like a Girls club or Lions Club. Along the way the deftly explain their logic in the approaches they take while accepting aand implementing better viewpoints. Very very well done, Tommy and Tina.
LOVE this book. Organizing and leading folks whether they like what you are doing or not is never easy. There are puzzle pieces that need to be put together in order to survive this "new world" Kind of weird that you kind of think of what is currently happening. Yes, there is foul language, torture and loads of other not right things, but look at where they are. This is not a nice world. This is world of live or die. Excellent read and very much looking forward to the next chapter.
This series starts out like most of them--a man & his wife live off the grid way back in the country. She's away on a cruise when The Virus hits & has to get home. This is where all similarities end. The virus kills adults, but not children. So now you have all these little kids running around trying to stay alive. I read all three books as fast as I could. Absolutely excellent. I wish the author would write a 4th & 5th & 6th book because book 3 just stopped. I really need to find out what happens to these people!
A murdering sociopathic criminal who goes to church when he is not killing and stealing is supposed to be heroic as he cares for kids.
The wife is a creepy psycho who enjoys torture.
The autodidact who can do everthing including outsmart the military spends a ton of the exposition picking up naked toddlers.
Here is the truth the guy is a foul mouthed pervert anithero and he would be dead at the hands of a competent adult. World leading scientists wouldnt obey an 11 year old.
Just sad so many praise this terribly written wet dream where guns are unlimited and medical doctors all bow down to a dictator with an associates degree whose crazy wife likes to torture people to death. Nope...
Tina and Tommy have once again, written a masterpiece. The end of life as we knew it has changed the priorities of Arthur, Wendy, Jason, Samantha, Joseph and Sarah. With children outnumbering the adults, the tides have turned and the way of life is being adjusted. Threats are everywhere and only some of them have 2 legs! This Viral Misery thriller is more non-stop action, mixed with drama and a sense of humor that will make you wet your pants! Kudos to the authors for another amazing story!
Thomas Watson tells the best stories. I have read everything he has written and wait patiently for The next new release. The Viral Misery books are on point with what is happening today in the world. He really makes you think of possible problems in a SHTF scenario. The animal problems he comes up with I have never read in any other book in the genre. You would not be disappointed no matter which of his books you read, he can make you laugh, cry and scare you silly. What more can you ask from any author.
From harrowing struggles with packs of dogs to vicious gangs and unusual groups of survivors, Tommy and Tina Watson keep us engrossed and intrigued as we watch Arthur, Wendy and their ‘kids’ bring hope in this world of viral misery.
Keep an eye out for all the little teasers from other Watson books - they always make me chuckle and grin.
I liked the first book. Disliked the second, but read it twice to get a full impression. This third book is a travesty of mindless, sadistic violence, torture, obscenity, and sexual depravity. From the protagonists. I honestly have concerns at how anyone of mature mind could write this rubbish, and cannot understand how readers can describe it as a "masterpiece." Puerile, obscene characters whose development is only fleshed out by the level of their depraved behavior. On the whole, there is nothing positive to say about this book. I will be deleting it from my library.
I was thrilled when Revelations came out. Being a long time Thomas A. Watson fan, I knew that I was in for a book packed full of action and humor. Vivid details being the characters to life and will have you on the edge of your seat at times. As in previous books in this , (actually, any of Mr. Watson's books) the ending came much too soon and left me wanting more.
I love everything this author writes. Book 2 & 3 of this series seems a bit off to me. Too many scenes and not enough flow of the story. Not sure if this will make sense but a little too much of the crazy over the top scenes and not enough meat of the story. Again, love the author and read this book in less than 24 hours even working a full time job!!! :)
