Vittoria's Mezcal III G2. 0 XC-Trail Tire is a fast rolling mountain tire that adds an injection of speed to any ride or race. Featuring a densely packed, low profile knob configuration and an alternating center-ridge tread, you'll reap the benefits of improved efficiency on smooth hard pack and demanding single-track alike. This version of the Mezcal incorporates Vittoria's XC-Trail TNT construction, which is compatible with tubes and, thanks to its folding aramid bead, sealant-based tubeless systems as well. It's constructed of a 120TPI nylon casing for light weight with an additional sidewall protection layer so your ride isn't cut short because of well, a sidewall cut. This tire also boasts Vittoria's new Graphene 2. 0 compound using 4 separate durometers for the best combination of wet grip, rolling resistance, cornering stability, and longevity. Graphene 2. 0 basically takes the original Graphene compound foundation that Vittoria previously used, and improves upon the metrics in every conceivable category.

Tubelessly fitted the Mezcal on the rear and Barzo on the front today in 29 x 2.1 flava. Nice tight fit on my MCFK rims but easier than most I've tried. Inflated in one go and stayed rock hard overnight. No leakage. These tyres are really good quality. I was worried they might feel heavy and draggy compared to lightweight Schwalbe's I used to use. These are significantly heavier on paper but roll just as fast with the bonus that they're more robust for winter at least. Although I've only had a quick ride I think I could live with these all year round. And boy are they handsome in the flesh. Really, these are the prettiest mtb tyres I've ever seen. Absolute steal under £30 for this quality.

Great all round tyres - Grip and low rolling resistance

Bought these for our G-tech Escent, what a huge difference, the bike was originally equipped with fairly chunky tread tyres which were noisy and unpredictable in turns on the road, or over stoney tracks. These are very quiet, have very little rolling resistance and are very grippy/stable and predictable on road, gravel, mud/stone tracks. The only terrain these are not as good vs the old chunky tyres is wet mud, they don't have the tread depth for it. Don't get me wrong, they still have grip but you just have to action a little caution going fast.
All in, all well worth the money and when these need replacing I will look to get another set.

I've never had this type of tyre before, that is, soft enough to fold up into a box.
I thought because it wasn't more rigid like the conventional tyres, that it would comprise the quality of the tyre!
Not so, the tyre when fully inflated has the same qualities as any other tyre. Because the tyre lacks this rigidity though, before the fitting I did have to fit it in a slightly different way to a rigid type of tyre. I ducked taped the tyre in several places, as I worked the tyre around the rim, which helped hold it into place for the fitting. The tyre now looks great and three weeks later there haven't been any problems.

Esta no la he probado todavía pero tuve la anterior y me dio muy buen resultado, tiene buen agarre, rueda muy bien y no sufrí pinchazos, la recomiendo totalmente además es más barata que Maxxis las cuales me dieron problemas de perdida de liquido por los flancos.
