Oh my god I loved this book so much. Willow is such an amazing person and I love her attitude. She knows exactly what she wants and isn’t afraid to say it. Then there’s her at her half, William. There is something about him that drama you in and you can’t help but love his cocky attitude. The story line was very well thought out and I couldn’t put the book down. Also, what a cliffhanger right?! Congrats and thanks Avery Song.

While the book and story was good, I'm deducting 1 star for being too wordy. This book was really long, which isn't a bad thing if its Caroline Peckham or Susanne Valenti, who can write long books that keep you on the edge of your seat for the whole book. The problem with the length of this book is it feels dragged out and unnecessarily long. When something is about to happen, one shouldn't have to wait multiple pages while the pov character ponders everything in life before the action takes place. Unfortunately it was so wordy I sometimes was confused about what was even going on.
What I did like about it was it was unique, the FMC was likeable and spunky for the most part, the fact that she could change into a man was definitely different from the norm. Of the guys, Onyx and Neo were obviously the most likeable, but their characters were also the most developed.
Be aware of triggers, there is a lot of suicide talk in this book.

Jam packed with excitement

This was a amazing read, while the author states that it is an enemies to lovers book, its not as bad as you would think, I don't normally read them as they aren't for me, but this book had it all, friendship, lovers, enemies, psychos and so much more. To read and fall in love with these characters was amazing and while its a super long book it is jam packed with action on every page. This author has really put her all into this book and it shows.

What an absolute trip this book is!the switch from William to Willow,the strength and level of badass is off the charts in this book and the heat level with the guys is insanely good. Onyx is everything,yes the others are pretty awesome but Im all things Onyx and Victor. What an amazing story with twists and turns sharp enough to cut a b*tch! Highly recommended addition to any kindle.

I had to stop at 15% because it was unnecessarily wordy and looong. How can someone getting stabbed take several paragraphs to explain? I'm giving it 3 stars for now because the blurb sounded interesting but I will return it and see if I can pick it up again later from Kindle Unlimited. If you're buying this read a sample first.

Amazing but long

I really enjoyed this book, such a great story and characters! But it was way too long and unnecessarily wordy. Felt like I was reading a diary at times, it was a bit repetitive and rambly. I kept having to skip ahead. Can't wait for the next one!

An Unique And Engaging Read

This was a well thought out, unique and engaging read. Characters had depth that further enhanced the plot while also investing the reader with their story. Has to be some of the best work by this author to date.
However, I do recommend skipping the prologue as it reveals to much of the plot for my liking.

This journey was filled with so many emotions. One felt immersed in the main character 's flawed persona and felt for and with her brutal upbringing. Read this on Kindle Unlimited but will now purchase it for my library I was so impressed.
