Product description
WaterWipes sensitive baby wipes are the world's purest baby wipes, made from 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract. Suitable for newborns and even for premature babies. Effective yet ultra-mild, pure, and gentle. WaterWipes are a suitable alternative to cotton wool and water and ideal for cleaning a baby's delicate skin. All WaterWipes contain is 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract to act as a natural skin conditioner. WaterWipes are not a cure for nappy rash – but importantly they don’t contain the ingredients that can cause or exacerbate nappy rash. To make the world’s purest baby wipes, WaterWipes use as few ingredients as possible and a technical process that alters the structure of water to make the molecules even smaller, making it an even more effective cleanser. WaterWipes are clinically sterile, totally pure and gentle, without any nasties. Please dispose of WaterWipes responsibly. Wipes should never be flushed. Our goal is to create the safest and most gentle wipes for your baby, and we are just as passionate about protecting our planet for their future. That is why we promise that our wipes will be 100% biodegradable by 2021.

In reagrds to the harmful chemical claim they said "We added this information to our packaging early 2018, as trace amounts of Benzalkonium Chloride are a by-product of the fruit extraction process. The level that exists in WaterWipes is extremely small and has no impact on safety of the product. Our wipes contain 0.1% fruit extract which in turn contains trace amounts of Benzalkonium Chloride so the overall content in the finished pack is negligible. To give you an idea, it can also be found in traces within Children’s nasal drops, Children’s plasters and some Baby bum creams. Given the negligible amount of Benzalkonium Chloride in our product, it is not classed as an ingredient, and so legally we don’t have to disclose it. But we believe in this day and age that companies owe it to their customers to declare information beyond what they are legally obliged to."
So when it comes to reviewing this product, I will give them the benefit of the doubt as I am no expert. However the wetness of these wipes are slightly disappointing, I was hoping they would be a little more wet than they are. Luckily I haven't had any negative experience with them, they do the job just fine. However a wet wipe doesn't have to do very much right to be a good product, so when it comes to overall rating I'll be giving it 4 stars for the product itself as I think it could be doing better as well as my preference for something a little bit wetter.

I now have a pack of these going in the bathroom, kitchen, and office and they all get plenty of use! Would definitely recommend!

The amazingly awesomeness of these wipes comes with a price - a very high one considering you are wiping someone’s bum with them and then throwing them away. It can feel like you are flushing money down the toilet (but please don’t flush the wipes done the toilet- we don’t need more fat burgs in the sewers).
The other downside to these is that they are quite wasteful. Ideally I would like to switch to cloth wipes but at the moment I feel like I’m at laundry capacity with the reusable nappies so something to aim for in the future. At leas these are high quality so you actually only need one or two compared to having to use 5-10 low quality wipes.
